Another great experience! Our first visit was in the prior location. This was our second visit. There wasn't a lot of options in the area, but this place has done a great job both times we were in the area.

Atmosphere is friendly. Staff is attentive and professional. Food was absolutely delicious. The Angry Possum Burger was excellent, as well as the Boom Boom Shrimp, the Queso and Chips, and the Fried Mushrooms.

We enjoyed the fried pickles, some of the beat we have had lately . I had the hamburger steak dinner and loved it. My husband said his mac and cheese was the best he's had at any place he has eaten. We will be back!

It's unique food and a neat atmosphere, but everything is fried or covered in cheese. If that's not what you're looking for, this is not the place for you. My husband didn't even finish his meal because he never received a refill after the food came.

1st time coming here. Loved the atmosphere. I had Brisket grilled cheese, was suppose to be regular cheese..I took 2 bites before I hit cheese and that was it.. my mouth on fire when i hit the cheese. I'm a wuss, so I wont return.. also, I don't drink beer or wine, sad no Captain...as I came for a new experience for my 1st anniversary saying my vows to my late Fiancé. Captain n Coke was his drink. But live music nice touch and felt like it's be nice place to be left alone to enjoy my time.

First time visitors! We enjoyed the garbage pile fries, angry possum dog, gumbo, and philly cheese steak grilled cheese with fries! Hot food, great service and fun atmosphere! We had a bit of a wait for our food but it was hot and fresh! We will be back!

The adult lunchable was a pleasant surprise to the appetizer menu! Whether you want something light and refreshing or heavy and savory this is the perfect place for a bite to eat and a cold drink with some great company! The owner and staff were amazing and helpful!! Will definitely be back every time we are in Newport!
