This place is a great place to dance for house music as there aren't many places who still play that great, rich, deep variety of house music which plays for the black gay from which it was historically born. Hopefully this century there will be a renaissance back to the jazzy fast music, disco and house. May this be a testament that the soul of black music and culture does not belong to Hip Hop but you can find it when you dance to house music.

Had a great time here! Multiple levels for different styles! Drinks are much better than most places. Had a room in Baltimore and the nightlife is very boring there. So I came to DC. JUST HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER!! Only problem was seeing a security guard disrespect someone and had them removed. Some security don't solve problems, they start them. But clearly trying to speak with the owner is useless. It's all about the money apparently.

I consider this place my personal "cheers pub". The people are friendly and it's a very professional crowd during the week especially during happy hour. -great drinks and drink specials -Sunday karaoke 9pm -1am - Saturday day parties once a month with DC fellaz entertainment - Talent competition once a month with iconic Souls entertainment - happy hour extends the whole day on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday - First Fridays parties with various promoters

Great place to meet friends and have a few drinks : strongest and most inexpensive drinks in the WORLD; mtw happy hour all night. Wish they would bring the pool tables back though. Some nights you can even catch a card game or karaoke. Great music Thursday happy hour and Saturday clubbing.

She's kinda boring... and lame... and tired... but it's also one of Washington D.C.'s most treasured Gay/Black community watering holes. Where are they supposed to go otherwise? And she does have her faithfuls. Very friendly, non-violent atmosphere... just too boring for my tastes. Ironically I met some visiting Dallas Cowboy fans there once; they're friendly guys, lol! I say give it a chance, and if it's your scene more power to you!!
