The Banque Country Western

Amazing country western place, a lot of fun. Everybody dancing, all ages on the arena!, good music and good teachers. The food is good, amazing Philly steak. We really enjoy the time there. Another must go if you are in Norfolk area.

Been coming here for on and off for 7 years. This place has the best karaoke every night and BEST bartenders in the back room! The staff here is above par and highly recommend coming here Thursday-Saturday. Great food, great people, great drinks for good prices. CANT BEAT IT!

2/10/24- I went with a group of friends and we had a blast. If you want to do line dances this is the place. I was so shocked that so many songs had dances to them. It was crazy to also see so many who knew the dances. They have a small dance area for people to practice. I do wish they would do a song or two with no line dance but I guess that is why you would come here. There was a 7$ coverage charge. We got there around 10:30pm. The tables were reserved but we were lucky and given a table after some people left. Our server was great and super quick with drinks/food. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and fries. Both were really good. The bar tenders were also great who helped us before we got the table. I would love to come back after I know some line dances.

I absolutely love the Banque. This place is hands down the best place to country line dance. They offer free line dance classes during the week and on the weekend. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The owner and staff is very nice and welcoming to all nationalities of people. There is NO racism tolerated at the place. It’s nice when they make a point to know your name and remember it. I have been dancing here almost four years and I feel safe and welcomed each time I walk through the door. Police presence and security is there to monitor for any violence. Keeping people safe is their #1 priority and this is why I will always love dancing here.

I absolutely love the Banque! The lessons offered are incredible, especially for being free. Wed-Sat at 7pm is line dancing lessons, Fri&Sat at 6pm is partner lessons. I was nervous about attending partner lesson alone but there are plenty of people to pair up with there and everyone is extremely respectable. The food is delicious and overall atmosphere is very Western - you don’t need a cowboy hat but they are absolutely encouraged! I tell all my friends to go weekly as you can’t go wrong spending an evening at the Banque! It is the best thing to do in Norfolk!!!! 10/10 recommend

Came here for the first time for a bachelorette celebration. The atmosphere and music was great. Our server Ava was very attentive and kind. The food, however, really let me down. The chicken fried steak was SO salty to the point I couldn’t eat it. I ordered the steak bites and while they were tender, they were also too salty. Seems like one of the cooks has a heavy hand with salting meat because all of the sides were fine.

The service is very good. Wait staff is friendly and professional. Back bar is very convenient for smoking or vaping but avoid karaoke here however. Although they have karaoke every night unfortunately if you're not a regular customer you won't be made to feel welcome by the lady who hosts. Eat the delicious food but go out elsewhere for your singing fun.

Just want to give a shout out to the best bar in town. The Banque is my home away from home. Nowhere would I rather be other than this gem right here. If you're looking for a place to dance with the biggest dance floor in Virginia, definitely need to come here. I'm just saying love the place!
