The Barrister's Bar & Judge's Grill

Really great place! I was referred here by a local to grab some lunch and I'm very happy I took his advice! Excellent space and atmosphere, excellent food and excellent service. No complaints at all. I only had a burger and a side of Shishito peppers but I'll be back to try the other menu items as soon as I can!

Great atmosphere, awesome employees, huge beer selection too. Ask the bartender to make Hunter's special gin cocktail, you won't regret it. They were also kind enough to recently host my band and two others for a wild night of good drinks and loud music, we had an excellent time! I should mention their hours of operation have changed recently, and the kitchen has been closed as well, but have heard rumors it's coming back in due time.

Wow! Definitely the best place for food in Russell Kansas! I recommend the privately retained council, the apple salad and the shroom mac!

Amazing addition to the town of Russell that has had limited dining options in the past. Stopped in last night for a steak. The ribeye was amazing! The side of Mac and cheese was pretty awesome too, as well as the Bloody Mary. Loved the menu, the names of the dishes are great, someone obviously has spent a lot of time pulling all the details together for a great experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great and fun atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

It is like ordering at a fast food joint. You look up at menus at the bar. We were unable to have an adult beverage for some reason. We ordered both sushi and hibachi and both were just okay and the chicken was tough.

My mother grew up in Russell and recently moved back. I came from Denver to visit and ate here this last Friday. Limited menu, but very good. I was very impressed with the decor. Staff was clearly new, but also clearly trying their best to learn the system. I personally think this place is just what this town needs. Cannot wait to go back and try the burgers!

Service was perfect. Food came out fast. Everything was delicious. So much flavor. The seating was comfortable. We will definitely be back!

This place is the definition of heaven sent. We were driving out west when a storm like we have never known stopped our travels. We found solace and comfort here, the bartenders were very kind and hospitable. Everyone acted like it was just another Wednesday. They had great drinks, great food, great prices. The stars lined up for us to be here. Definitely worth a stop.
