The performance was great but theater could use sprucing up like some paint, new furniture, and floors. I was at the last show the lettuce was old under the wings but our waitress was GREAT.

A different and fun experience. We made it to the 7:30 show. The appetizers and drinks were good. The staff was very attentive. Make sure you have some cash to tip the performers

This is specifically about the Show Lounge and not the bar area next door. This is also not in reference to the entertainment. I was so disappointed. Going to The Baton was something I've grown up hearing very positive, exciting things about. I was very excited to have the chance to go to Chicago and to see one of the famous shows. The venue is very dingy and old looking, mirrors on stage and smears with handprints. Stage which is visible to most patrons is cracked and peeling, needs painted. Curtains were very old and the table cloth was stained and obviously dirty. Staff was rude, would have rather just went to the bartender who seemed friendly but just gave up on ordering anything after concerns around fruit flys in her wine. Overall, we left early Like I said going to a show at The Baton

The outdoor space is the perfect spot for physically distant and Coronavirus-responsible entertainment and casual beverages. they have an awning to prevent too much sun and the performers are always amazing. get there soon to see the French phenom...who is gorgeous!

I was blown away by one of best drag queen shows of my life! This place was extraordinary & the team put on a fantastic yet elegant show! You can tell they're passionate & love what they do by how they dance & engage with the audience. My favourite was the Diana Ross & Whitney Houston act. Great atmosphere topped with a theatrical stage adorned with disco balls. Highly recommend coming here for a one of a kind experience.

Went to baton recently for my mom’s birthday since she went a few times back when you guys were located downtown but it was my first time and we absolutely loved it!! Since it was a few days after the new year there weren’t too many people who came to the show but honestly even if it was just my family there it would’ve been just as fun! The girls are all so fun and charming in their own way i truly could not choose a favorite. I also really like the style of the building itself with the ticket booth in front it really adds to the character of this place especially when so many places nowadays try to go for a minimal style that pleases everyone. Also shoutout to the queen who sat on my mom’s lap haha she’s gonna talk about that for the rest of her life

Went there for the music that was playing. Nice, friendly service at the bar. Lived the ornamental woodwork around the stage. Only drawback for me was that they closed at 2 a m. I was Hoping for more music from From the willie wallaman project. Photo by Anna Kate Photography.

Great place for a fun night. The patio is awesome and the basement is sweet, too. Kind of limited selection (they didn't have any ciders, just beer and hard liquor).
