Hipster vibes with amazing Ramen. This is a cool place to stop in for a drink or the ramen, which is something they’re known for. The building was once a house, converted to bar space with 2 floors & a front porch for seating. We chose the front porch since the weather was right & not overly hot. We both ordered the pork belly ramen, (BA Ramen on the menu) which did not let us down. It had some spice to it, but the right amount. If you’re a fan of ramen, this is a must try. We also tried the potstickers as an appetizer, which were great. Fair prices & friendly staff.

The food here is in incredible. If you’re look for a place in Warehouse Row to eat. Choose Bitter Alibi. People working and hanging out here are friendly and the place has a great vibe overall. Very satisfied. So hungry that we forgot to take photos before devouring our food! You’re gonna have to take our word for it!

It was my second time at @thebitteralibi , this fusion dive bar has some amazing happy hour drinks and amazing food. The unique food is so good and the chicken sando was so massive, what a great value at $12.

At first, I was really impressed with this place. I thought it was really cute and it had a great atmosphere and in all honesty there was nothing really wrong with the bar itself. The problem I had was after having some drinks with my fiancé and paying our tab, I had left an eight dollar tip and realized that they had actually put $10. When I had asked the bartender about this. They stated oh it is just a two dollar holding fee It should come back to you the next day for paying with card. The next day I had woken up and realized that not only was my $67 tab charged my card additional $57 was pending. I had returned to the bar later the next day to ask them what exactly the pending charge was for the bartender then explain to me that that was a charged holding fee, I explained that that didn’t really make sense to me since the bartender last night had told me that there was only a two dollar fee now I’m getting charged an additional $57 fee. she said it would clear by the next day or later on that day. All day had passed and still no change the next day I woke up and it was still pending this was now two days after my tab had closed at the bar. I couldn’t get a hold of the bar and decided to call my bank and have them take the holding fee off. I have never been to a bar/restaurant where they charge $57 for a holding fee on top of what you had already paid. And on top of that, they still decided to Add the additional two dollars on top of my eight dollar tip. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional

Stopped in for Sunday brunch after looking over some reviews. It was a great choice. After ordering at the bar we found a table in the basement/bar area. It was a good vibe for a Sunday morning, being moderately busy. Our food was good. The best word to describe it is unique! The breakfast nachos had a sweet-smokey flavor that was accompanied well by the crunch of the wontons followed by a kick on the back end. The Cumberbatch was also very good and offset the flavors of the other dish.

As soon as you walk in, you're hit with the impression that The Bitter Alibi isn't trying to be better than anyone else—yet, it totally is. This place is a top-notch find in Chattanooga. It has a relaxed, grunge, and welcoming vibe that's perfect for locals and visitors alike. The menu is packed with hearty comfort food, killer brunch options, and solid vegetarian dishes. The craft beers and cocktails hit the mark every time, making it an ideal place to kick back with friends. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. If you're looking for a great place to unwind, The Bitter Alibi is the place to be.

Visited here on a Saturday evening. Had a great time. I was happy with the drinks, they were made well. I tried the ramen and I loved it. I plan to visit again, however, next time I will sit upstairs rather than in the basement as the basement floor gets pretty hot. Definitely worth visiting!

Maybe decline the UberEats order next time instead of sending us this laughable order of old/stale/reheated/overcooked nonsense we just threw away? We didn’t realize we ordered close to closing but how pathetic to send this out. We eat here fairly often(just had dinner on Tuesday)- what a disappointment.
