The Bourbon Square Jazz Bar

The vibe in this place is awesome and so are the people. We came here to chill and hang out and we had the best experience! The crayfish, the Jack Daniels wings, the crab platter and crab cakes were all top notch. The employees are very accommodating and attentive. The patio area is super chill. We are from Pennsylvania but every time we come back we will be sure to stop here!

Came two days in a row. Lunch then dinner. Food was great. Atmosphere is on point. Nice variety of vibes. Club vibes that settle into chill jazz lounge vibes. Cool back patio. The owners and folks were super cool and very hospitable. Definitely coming back when I get back down from Memphis in a couple weeks.

The food and service was phenomenal! Drinks were great, we tried every appetizer except the crab cakes and not a single complaint! Probably the best food we’ve had since we got here on Thursday. They served all 11 of us like pros, our drinks were never empty and the food just kept on coming! We had a blast and they treated us like family! Hands down add this place to your list to visit, we will be coming back every time we come!

I just had the best end-of-the-night experience here. Ordered the seafood plate, the Jack Daniels wings with steak fries, and the seafood rolls. Everything was AMAZING. I'd recommend the rolls for best-in-show. The staff was also really friendly and just so welcoming. I'll remember this place just for that alone. Also you can rent a hookah while you're here! Can't say enough good about this spot! 10/10!!

So much to say about this bar. Cool vibe and Big Rock was the man. Kept us entertained and laughing the entire time. Now for the food....you will not find better anywhere in Nola. I had the sweet chili wings and they were the best wings I've ever had. They were juicy, crispy, and the sauce was to die for. My wife and daughter got the crab plate and devoured the entire plate. Don't use silverware, it won't help. Get messy wit it and live in the moment. Chef Boosky got the entire menu on lock. Everything is homemade in house..and I mean everything. I don't ever tip the chef, but I damn sure did tonight. Can't say enough about the atmosphere and food here. If you want the absolute best nola has to offer this is the place to get it!

I was given the opportunity to celebrate my 50th Birthday at this establishments Bourbon Square Bar, when I tell you it was amazing, perfect environment, perfect set up and space and the owners made me feel like they were family. I recommend a visit to anyone looking to find a great place to hang out, eat and enjoy.

We had a family gathering in New Orleans and called 3 weeks ahead of time to get a reservation, which they accepted for 50 people. The man was named Melvin We called the day before and was advised it was all set. We called the morning off to ask about parking and were told we did not have reservations. Apparently Melvin never put us down. We had people fly in from all over the country and this restaurant left us hanging. Their excuse? Melvin doesn't handle reservations. Why weren't we told that 3 weeks ago, or the day before when we called? Go to Mr. Ed's. They scrambled to accommodate us, provided exceptional service and the food was fantastic! Thank you, Melvin. You cost your restaurant well over $1000 in revenue. Mr. Ed's is happy.
