Was there for a trivia night. The trivia was fun. Another night of trivia, so grateful this business allows the local library to use the primary room at this location for free.

The owner has chosen to disengage in community Mediation to resolve a dispute centering on a bouncer having becoming assaultive towards a customer -presumably due to personal bias of an employee. A prior Google review was left when the customer's attempt to resolve the concern by face to face meeting w/the owner failed to resolve the issue. The owner pressured the customer to remove the review & was offered Community Mediation by the customer. The owner further initiated having the customer "flagged" at Brew River & thus banned from 3 other areas establishments. The owner attended one mediation session & agreed to speak to the general manager of Brew River to have the custoner "unflagged" if the customer removed the review. The customer removed the Google review, but was not unflagged. The owner failed to show up for a 2nd scheduled mediation & has now declined the process altogether - resulting in a re-posting of a review here to provide feedback to the community about unfair, problematic & biased practices.

Great spot for a night out. I’d consider this a hidden gem for sure. The theming is extremely unique with a 1920’s speakeasy vibe. Great spot if you want to sit outside. Went on a Friday and wasn’t too busy. My group of friends and I had one whole section of the place to ourselves. It’s a great location if you are looking for more of an adult, upscale location.

Went for my 17th year anniversary with my husband. It was light with hip hop, some pop, and light rock. A quaint vibe.:

I went to The Brick Room based on a friend's recommendation. This place is very different the minute you walk in. The atmosphere is so cool and makes you feel like you've been transported to a different time if that makes sense. It felt like you were in the 1930's. The bartender was very good and the drinks were amazing. I didn't have the luxury of being able to stay very long, but will be coming back.@delmarvalicious

I went out to diner then decided to stop by The Brick Room to Smoke a Cigar and have a drink of Cognac ,that they were out of. I borrowed their torch as I had done before and I stand outside use and return it to bar immediately before sitting. I finished my cigar and drink, went to the men’s room. As I was about to get to my car a male staff member with a pony tail came running out and asked me did I take the torch. The torch was a large size that you would not put in you pocket unless you intended to. I told him I had placed it on the bar and I followed to show him where I had placed it. And that’s where he found it. It was very uncomfortable walking back in after he had ran out after me, since I seemed to be the only “ Black Person” in the place. I was not offered an apology or a thank you for coming.
