The Bucket

The Bucket is a great place to grab a bite to eat,it also had friendly fast service. but it could use some improvement in the temperature control. On my visit, it was quite hot inside, which detracted from the overall experience. However, the hot temperatures made the beer taste especially refreshing, and the bathroom had a fantastic A/C unit, providing some much-needed relief. I would recommend The Bucket for their food and drinks, but be prepared for a warm environment.

Traveled to WV to see The Corey Stevenson Band. We had an absolutely fantastic time at "The Bucket"!! From the very beginning of us walking in, the staff was great! Service was quick from both the kitchen and the bar! If you are a cocktail type person, definitely give some of their house drinks a try. "Trash Can" is very tasty...just be careful. 😉 ALL of the food we tried was equally good! Our server, Tiffany was beyond EXCELLENT!...one of our friends described her taking care of us as "the best service he had received since before covid"! After the show, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners... they were very friendly! We hope that we get a chance to visit here again in the near future!

Really enjoyed our meal here. Smoked chicken wings were really smokey, but I loved the lemon-pepper dry rub! Fries were excellent; batter dip was crisp! Sandwich was also pretty darn good, but the start of the show was the deep fried pepperoni roll!! You should go there just to try this. Our server Darryl was top-notch. Can't wait to go back.

I stopped on the way to a friend's house and got a side salad, bucket burger, and chips. The burger is fully customizable and there are plenty of salad dressings to choose from. The atmosphere was laid back, with a sportscast on a huge projection screen at the front. Service was terrific, the server asked for order details and was pleasant. The food was delicious with large portions, more than enough for one person.

Remind me before I go here again that the time from placing my order to getting my food is unreasonably long. My To Go order came out before my dinner order. When my dinner order arrived, the onion rings were cold. What's happening here?!? This is decent quality bar food. The wait staff was nice, the place was moderately busy, and the ambiance was very laid back beer drinking and music playing kinda place. The wait was long the last time I was here, but I forgot until it was too late. I wanted it to be better, but something in the kitchen causes everything to be extra extra slow. I'll try again after I forget how slow they are. Maybe in a couple of years.

The food was good. My husband got the little Sasquatch burger, and it was massive, but he finished it! The pepperoni roll I got was very good also, but the nachos were not so lucky. The chips tasted like they were used to clean the fryer oil. And the kitchen was slow. The server more than made up for the slower service by telling us in advance the kitchen was busy. All in all, we will go back again because it was worth the wait.

5 Stars! - March 2023 For clarification, I did NOT contact this business before visiting. Service was prompt, food was tasty, great temperature. We sat outside. They play good music, seating was great. I always knew The Bucket is a great place, they are constantly busy. Parking lot is full, but park to the left, plenty of seating for you. ——————————————————————— 3 Stars - Jan 2023 This would be a five star review if our food was hot! Food tasted great, but was barely room temperature. Arrived Monday evening around 5pm. Wasn’t too busy, but our food took long. We ordered two burgers with fries and wings. Even though it wasn’t hot, the flavors were great.

Went there yesterday for a mid afternoon fest With my buddy and we both had the SEA FOOD BROIL! Out of this world. Crab Legs, Shrimp, Italian sausage, Red Potatoes and Corn on the cob. It was a platter full and absolutely Delicious…. 100% Out of the Park. Can’t find this anywhere in Charleston. Chris hired an outstanding New Manager Dave Raines that put Fat Patty’s on the Map years ago. Outstanding Guy with great new ideas. The place, Staff and Service is amazing. You Have to try The Bucket Out. 10 for 10 for sure. WE BE BACK!
