The staff was hardworking and helpful. The food was not good overall. We even had a friend with uncooked chicken on their salad. The drinks were yummy though. I would come back for drinks and appetizers but wouldn’t eat a meal here again. Cleanliness could be improved too.

Hate to bash a restaurant, I know they've been around a while. But this was probably one of the worst places I have eaten in Franklin or the Nashville area! I don't know if they are under new management or what, but it looked like they were struggling quite a bit. I had never eaten here before, but apparently, the main dining area is downstairs (you enter from outside), and it was closed. There was outdoor seating, and then the upstairs was just a bar area. The outdoor seating was actually the best part simply because of the fall weather and color changing leaves! Just outside the bar was a small porch area, and people were smoking there. It was outside granted but not pleasant for the rest of us non-smokers. The menu selection was standard bar food - burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, chicken tenders, etc. My husband ordered a burger, and I ordered the chicken fingers. Both were pretty horrible. My husband said the burger didn't taste like much, and my tenders looked like they were going to be amazing but ended up having a very strange taste. I overheard another table discussing several things with their server. Dislike over certain food, beers out on tap, and possibly new management as to the changes?? So I don't think I was the only one having a bad experience. I definitely expect and expected more out of a Franklin restaurant. In fact, I expect a lot out of any restaurant I patronize these days, given the price of a meal. Let's do better folks.

I'd heard of the Pig but had never been there so when I saw it when visiting another spot I knew I needed to check it out. Parts of the place were closed off - season? Day? Not really sure. It's a bar. Old school, lots of liquor, good beer selection with decent seating. Lex was my server, and she was excellent. Talked literature as I ordered a patty melt. The food was decent, and the service was great. The only weird thing was she had to leave the bar completely to go to another building to my food. Here's the Breakdown: Big, funky bar +1 star; decent burger +1 star; Good beer selection +1 star; great conversation with my beertender +1 star. I'll go back.

Been here quite a few times, but it’s been a long minute since last visit. We had some friends in town and wanted to take them someplace that’s unique to Franklin and we thought the Bunganut would be fun, especially since we hadn’t been there for so long. Boy were we wrong. First, apparently they are keeping a troll in the basement whose main job is to bark at people who are coming in. Though the sign says ‘Main entrance’ with an arrow indicating the basement and there’s a rope available to block off if it’s not being used and there’s a lock in the door, none of these things were in effect when we entered through the door we’ve used every time in the past. Fortunately they had their troll down there to irritably inform idiots like us that we had to go upstairs for service. Up we went. Got a table. Waitress was *fine*. Food was really good! Kitchen staff for the win. However we will not ever be returning or recommending. When we got our checks, we discovered that they are charging for water. Water in a glass. Mind you, everyone at the table ordered a cocktail of some kind, we ordered a couple appetizers, and we all ordered entrees. $2 for a glass of water. Y’all. Nope

Pub like feel inside the eatery. Staff were personable and friendly. Burgers were good. I recommend the chicke. Parm egg rolls! They were homemade filled with cheese, chicken, and sauce. Free pool tablesto pass the time. Burgers had good flavor too.

I came here a week ago and had the Chicken Caesar Salad. I literally came back everyday because it was the best Chicken Caesar Salad I've ever!

Took a day trip with friends and a dog to Franklin. After walking around the area with the temperature climbing past 90° we found this place with outdoor seating to accommodate the dog. We were warmly greeted and our group of 5 including a border collie got seated indoors in their air conditioned Billard room. The service was excellent and we enjoyed our food. We recommend this location with or without a dog.
