The Burger Bar & Grill

Wife and I dropped in to the Burger Bar since it was National Cheeseburger Day, and we like the dive bars. No offense. Madison was friendly and engaging, and we enjoyed a couple of thick, crisp burgers with awesome toppings. We had some onion rings and a cocktail or two for not much money. Brought home leftovers. All things considered, we had a great meal and we will be going back soon! Added the picture of the turkey because Lorna took a great picture from the deck.

Did some work in La Porte from Chicago and wanted to stop somewhere local for a bite. It is Tuesday and the place has a nice crowd. The atmosphere is fun and festive with great decor and awesome beer on tap. The patio was colorful, fun and perfect for a summer night. I had the house burger which was 1/2 lb with lettuce, tomatoes, a special cheddar and their house sauce. I thought it was great. The woman that served us was seriously cool and fun to chat with. One of my coworkers even got hit on by two older lady's at the table next to us that totally made his day. Overall, I loved the place. If I'm ever in La Porte again, I'll be back.

Truly great burgers! Great daily specials & Phil really throws down a mean bowl of house made chili. Breakfast specials also really delicious.

We were checking out the antique shops in the area and stopped for lunch. The menu was limited but everything we had was very good. The little patio area felt like a hidden secret place. Our service was excellent! Very good value!

One of my favorite spots in laporte! Food I'd always good and the staff is great. Highly recommend!

Had the pleasure to eat here tonight. Great service and out standing food. The downfall is, this is a smokers paradise!! Thing is I quit a couple years ago. Not degrading anyone, just stating what I feel and smelled. Take the smoke away this place would get a 4 or 5 rating from everyone!!

Great food made by great people. Everything is delicious you can't go wrong!
