My girlfriends and I had an absolute blast at The Cauldron! Whether you’re a die hard Potterhead or you just want to hangout in the city and try something new, this is a must do! The decor inside is on theme, you get a cape/robe and witch hat to wear while you’re there, and the list of drinks are comprehensive and fun. The whole experience is interactive - you start off at the unicorns and then move onto making your own drinks (“potions”). The service is kind, attentive and warm. We had snacks to munch on because those drinks are stronger than you think! Definitely recommend the Brussels sprouts which are super crispy and flavorful. I would definitely come back!

First off upon walking in you are automatically transported to a fun Halloween bar, we were greeted immediately. We were given a cloak and hat, the hat you can keep in the end. Our professor & server was Lana and she was amazing and so friendly! The drinks were so fun to make and they were tasty as well. Lots of options to choose from. You can do alcohol or no alcohol. Definitely a unique experience!

Such a fun place to visit!! It’s walkable from broad street so it’s a great place to hit before a show at the academy of music or after walking around city hall. The staff were so sweet, enthusiastic and accommodating. The food was delicious, but what this past does the best is their drinks! Every drink was not only delicious but also was presented in the most magical and memorable way. Would 100% reccomend!!

Visited for the first time over the weekend for the Halloween potion-making event. We were a group of 4 and got seated in the back of the bar. The experience was neat with the potion making but left a little to be desired. Service was a little flighty - never offering us food menus but giving to other tables around us. Finally ordered but forgot to bring us one of the apps we ordered. Had to ask for water which came out warm, had to ask multiple times for ice for water and cocktails. The book and supplies were sticky at our table and had to ask for napkins. Gratuity was automatically included so felt like maybe the server didn’t care to help as much. Overall was fun to make the potions but not sure if I’d go back unless it was a less busy night.

This place is so much fun!! Did a potion making experience for a bachelorette party and everyone loved it. I was DD that night and was happy to hear they had a non alcoholic experience that was just as thorough as the alcoholic one. Jules and Zach were the best potion masters!

This was such a fun experience! It was really fun to make our own drinks and they were delicious. The food was also really good. Aman was a great potions master. Thank you for a great spooky time!

The best date night ever! My wife and I had a blast and enjoyed every moment of potion making. Zach was an amazing Potion Master! Will come back next time we’re in town. A helpful thing to note is that you can order appetizers during the Potion Experience.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BOOK AN EXPERIENCE: I normally do not give 1 star reviews but this “experience” requires one. I’m a bit bitter from the Halloween Potion Making event I attended on 10/26/2024. I booked online a week in advanced and while booking online, the ticket price included a witches hat, magic wand rental, two brew your own drinks, one magic wand poured drink, one ectoplasm shot, and the 1hr and 45 minute interactive experience for $69.99 a person. I booked two tickets for this experience and added onto my tickets: two extra shots, two signature cocktails, and two extra magic wand poured drinks. After taxes and fees my online bill was $226.70. On 10/26/2024, my wife and I show up early and are told we had to wait until our table was finished being cleaned up before we could be seated. This was fine, so we waited outside in the hallway of the building. About 15 mins later we were seated in the basement and was told to sit side by side at the table because other parties would be sitting at the same table as ours. This was a bit weird and made it a little uncomfortable when they arrived. The server did not give us our witches hats nor did the server tell us that the robes in the chairs were for us to wear. We took it upon ourselves to wear the robes. After other parties started to arrive and be seated, the server began us with going up to the unicorn heads to get our magic wand poured drinks. This was anything but magical. Upon returning to the basement, we were offered the option to order food while we did our potion (brew your own drinks) drinks. At this time, two shots also arrived to our table for my wife and I. We drank those and continued to drink our wand poured drinks while we placed an order for the tapas sample board ($32) and an order of the cheesesteak empanadas ($14). We did our first potion drink, Stingy Jack’s Doom. It was fun to make and delicious at the end but the glow in the dark affect was anything but magical and fun. It was a runny mess We then were told by our server, that we had two signature cocktails added onto our ticket and handed us a menu to choose which cocktails we wanted. We picked out our signature cocktails and waited for them plus our food to arrive. Shortly after receiving the signature cocktails, our food arrived. This is where I started to feel ripped off. First no witches hat for me or my wife, now $32 for a sample board that wasn’t even that much food. I regret not taking a photo of the sample board. This was absolutely pathetic and a rip off. Three small triangle mozzarella sticks, three “wings” (two drum sticks and a flat), one pig in a blanket chopped into three pieces, and maybe 6-8 pieces of popcorn chicken the size of nickels. The cheesesteak empanadas were small as well. Everything was about what you could get for $5 from the frozen food section of your local grocery store. Not worth the $46! We ate our food (it was suppose to be dinner but turned out to only be a snack and we had to get dinner else where after we left) and continued with our second brew your own drink (potion drink). As we were starting to finish it, I asked the server about our other magic wand poured drinks, he said he would get those for us at the end with the ectoplasm shots (wait, I thought we would get those ourselves since they were magic wand poured…weird but ok). At this time, the server brought out our checks and this is where everyone started to get upset with their bill. They added on 20% gratuity to the bill FROM THE ORIGINAL TICKET PRICE. This put a $45 gratuity on a $49 bill!!! This is ROBBERY! I paid my bill with $60 cash, refusing to pay the $94. 20% of $50 is $10. $60 was enough to cover my bill plus 20% tip. Those not paying cash had to pay the over charged tip. Still didn’t get our two magic wand poured add on drinks and we asked for a refund and the manager said we would get an email from corporate. I was almost out $45 due to the sneaky way they try to get more money from you at the end. EDIT: I did get the $21.60 refund for the 2 drinks.
