The City Lounge and Restaurant

Don't be turned-off by the lack of curb appeal because once you find the entrance to go inside, things improve from there. The staff is excellent and the music keeps the going and the drinks flowing, add a round of Hookah and you and your crew are in for a good time. The place is small and there is only one restroom for everyone so if you have a smaller bladder and pee often. This might not be the place for you. Overall, great place for locals to attend any day or night of the week. Go with the intentions of having a good time and you will, the music and the drinks won't disappoint you or your crew. Go during Happy Hour and enjoy the Happy Hour Specials $$

I came from Atlanta, GA for a graduation. We saw this place online and decided to try. Overall, terrible. Unless you like loud JERSEY MIX music, this is not the place to come to. The atmosphere was awful…at least the servers were nice. Hookah is $35 and they don’t change coals either

Got there around 9 but couldn't order food until 11:30. Wings were ok... was empty when we got there. By 11 it was packed. Good music, fun atmosphere. SANGRIA WAS DELICIOUS AND STRONG

We had a birthday party. It was free. We booked our own food and brought it. The front is small. The bar is in the front. If you continue to walk to the back it is a larger area. The vibe is good. The people are real. Good conversation. THE PASSION FRUIT LONG ISLAND IS A MUST. Drink prices are great. Casual dress

I will start out by saying I love City Lounge and I’ve been coming here for years. I actually have a Great Review for them under my other account, but this time was different. It’s the last Friday of the year and I’m chillin with my home girl, and this Oswald Cobblepot (iykyk ) blond bald head chick with the gap was rude as hell. Yes I took it there cause she was rude twice. She was the hookah girl by the way. Her attitude was trash. Now I understand I’m in Newark, but damn For me to write this review means she ticked me off. Let’s do better City Lounge P.S. Henery the bartender doesn’t know how to make drinks well The sangria was great however his energy was GREAT too. We tipped him well ♥️

The lady with the peach shirt on tonight on Thursday did a great job! She was very personable and had a great energy about her ! I would love to come back and see her and vibe with her again!

Someone played jazz sax for their turn at karaoke. The voices are worth the visit alone. So much eclectic talent.

Went on a Thursday night. We were in the area and decided to check this place out and were really glad we did. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Service was quick and efficient. The drinks and music were great. Security was very thorough. We really enjoyed our time here and will be back!
