Flew from the city of Boston looking for a fun night out where We found this hidden gem the bartenders were absolutely amazing and gorgeous the host Imani was the best host I ever felt like a comfortable atmosphere we even brought our grandma out she loved it. The drag show was spectacular they were all so beautiful and gave us a memorable experience!!

I've been here a few times now, and have found it to have an assorted atmosphere, depending on when you visit. During the week, it's kinda quiet and cozy with a "Cheers-like" ambiance. The last 2 Wednesday evenings were pretty relaxed, and Kevin, our bartender was totally on top of his game. My wife and I had a good time between free pool, and $12 all you can drink drafts and wells. The other patrons were social and quite welcoming (which means a lot to a transgender person, such as myself). Our visit last Friday was completely off the chain! We danced most of the evening to the styling of their DJ, and had a great time with the Drag show later in the evening. Weekends seem to draw a larger crowd, and still again, we found the staff and patrons very sociable and welcoming. While the bar is considered a gay bar, after talking with the owner, we soon learned it's so much more. They promote themselves as an all-inclusive LGBTIQ+ bar, and even provide a safe and entertaining environment to straight folks as well. I really can't speak highly enough of the venue and it's staff. I have always had a great time when I visit! I would totally recommend the place to anyone, gay or straight!

Very nice customers and employees. The owner is as well a very nice man. We ended up knowing allot from Pennsylvania and it was nice to have great conversation. The prices are very reasonable, the ace is very clean and nice lit up inside. A great time of fun.

I went to the Copa to enjoy a great drag show! The show was a good time!! The bartenders on the other hand NEVER ONCE acknowledged me! The bar back Todd was the only one behind the bar that would take my money and serve me a drink. As an experienced bartender I found this extremely insulting. Not a look, not a gesture, not a nod from either bartender behind the bar. Todd kicks ass!!! He was on point for me all night! I'm truly peeved that the rude ignorant bartenders got my tips for Todd! I think that's bull!! The only way I'll be back is if my friend does another show. I can gauruntee you tho as I'm a non drinker, I'll only be tipping the drag show gals!!! Todd's the BEST!! You should FIRE the rest!!!

Total joke, as the response below is perfect example of the snide catty attitude met at the front door with 4 people in the bar at 10:45 and when we returned at 12:45 and there were about 6 people in this “late night Saturday crowd “ venue , like I said total joke. And see that we were from Out of town we chilled in the parking lot for about 15 mins looking for a place on our phones. And to respond like you did below is a true sign of your lack of professionalism I’m sure a LGBT self entitled elitist headliner Extraordinaire, total joke ! Erase your comment Ms. Diva

I've had a lot of fun here over the years. Anytime I visit my family in Summerfield I always try to make it a point to make it out to The Cops at least one night. Friendly staff and good conversation are always easy to find here.

I absolutely adore this place! Whether you are looking to have a relaxing drink after work or looking for some entertainment on the weekends, they have got it at the Copa. There does not seem to be any strangers there, everyone feels like family.

Worst gay bar in Florida. Completely ignored by both bartenders for almost 10 minutes. Not a friendly atmosphere. Show left alot to be desired. Will not return or recommend. Was warned about this in Gainsville.
