The Copper Still Pub & Grill

We visited the Copper Still on a road trip between PA and SC. It was close to the hotel we were staying at and looked a lot more fun than the standard restaurants surrounding our hotel. And we love visiting and supporting local small businesses to get a real taste of where we're visiting. It's easy to get to and don't let the humble exterior put you off. The restaurant/bar has a homey feel, the service was topnotch and the food was generous and really tasty. If we're back in Martinsburg, WV again we'll definitely stop by again!

Typical bar atmosphere. It was seat yourself, and a table was quickly bused for our use. Large bar area and a pool table to the far right. The restroom was clean. Someone who has a sense of humor is involved with this establishment, as evidenced by reading the menu. I had the Sriracha Melt, very flavorful without being overpowering. The side of fries were fresh and crisp. The big guy had the Patty Melt and commented that the patties had crisp texture just how he likes it. This is not a fancy place but a comfortable place. A nice selection for this weary traveler.

Local small pub with awesome service and low key atmosphere. Just what we needed after a day of traveling. Beer was ice cold, drinks made perfectly and fries were awesome. We arrived tired and hungry and left full and hydrated and relaxed. Casual atmosphere led to great conversation with couple at table next to us and host/bartender/server who we assumed was also the owner was friendly, attentive, and very welcoming to a couple of out of state visitors. If we are in WVa again this will be a define stop!

This place has a pretty good rating, we were excited to try it. We started with some fries and wings. The fries came out first and they were chewy, unexpected so it took me off guard. They looked amazing and fresh cut. Not so much, the texture was awful. The wings were good. The service was friendly and on top of things. There is also a pretty good beer selection from cans to taps.

It was our second time here, the first time was about 6 years ago when we were passing through and we had a good time. We love local bars/pubs and this place doesn't disappoint with that. I love my sriracha melt burger, but the fries really fell short of being edible this time - turn up your fryer temperature - they were like soft greasy sponges, couldn't eat them after trying. The food was good except for that, I'd give it a 5 otherwise. Beer was cold, service was great.

Best American food in Martinsburg wow. The food was so good I forgot to elaborate burgers are huge and juicy, chicken is always cooked to perfection. I haven't had a bad thing here even the desert I had here once was amazing. a strawberry shortcake if I can remember. The people here are great and the servers as well. Definitely have to stop by at least once to try! If you're just passing through

Even with a limited menu after 9, the food was well cooked. The bartender was attentive and made the gf a really good cocktail. Is it Friday yet? was the name of the drink. The Yuengling was cold and at $3 a pint, I was very happy. Great stop off of 81.
