The drinks were fantastic, and the vibes were even better. I loved this speakeasy. The DJ played genuine 1920s records, and he was outstanding. You will not regret visiting this location. Look for 106 above the door and two lit lanterns. That will be your only indication of the secrets inside.

Go to The Crow & Quill if you’re looking for a unique experience. It’s tucked away so it’s easy to miss the entrance. I would describe this place as dark & moody with witchy vibes. Something I absolutely love but it’s not for everyone. The drinks were delicious but we didn’t get anything to snack on here. Their food menu is very limited. The only thing I would change about experience is the customer service aspect. No one was really approachable who worked there. They weren’t mean or rude necessarily, just very matter a fact and didn’t offer much assistance when it came to our first experience there when I was asking questions about the drinks. I still would recommend the place, it’s cool.

Great place with some awesome bartenders. Went on a Wednesday, which was quiet and laid back, which is what I like, but they do get busy with live music on other days. Went here again and on a Wednesday which was busier than normal but the bartenders were on point as best as they could. Drinks were great again.

Where to begin? This neo-Victorian, folk-gothic bar features stunning antiques & art. Two upright pianos, laden with books; books & hideway spots to get cozy; bar seating, tables, & stools. With over 600 whiskeys & more than 1,000 spirits (including some difficult to find, as well as a few no longer produced) there is something for everyone. Friendly & knowledgeable mixologists make this place stand out. Some delicious bar snacks & a decent supply of board games make this a place to hunker down & stay for a while. Frequent live music & themed events. They also offer cocktail classes (see their website for details). An insanely-awesome patio/smoking area out back offers privacy & more coziness. Most of the establishment is wheelchair accessible, sans the patio. Another plus? Two gender-neutral washrooms. Hands down, this half-hidden Poe-esque bar is not to be missed.

Tricky to find, but worth it! The drinks are a bit pricey, but definitely well crafted, and delicious! The Bartenders are very good at their job. The entertainment was wonderful as well!

First off, you have no idea what you are walking into. It is a portal to the past. A speakeasy, maybe?? The ambience, the decor, and a whole wall of every conceivable liquor! The bartender was friendly, helpful and a master of exotic cocktails. This will be a must stop every visit to Asheville!! Cannot review food, didn't have any

Great Spot for something different than the normal brewery scene in Asheville. Very extensive cocktails made here. I always have a great time visiting. Speak Easy feel

One of the coolest places in Asheville. If you're a whiskey/bourbon fan like me this is heaven.
