We came to DC for the weekend and found this great spot to have a drink, place has a speak easy vibe and bartender/ owner was great. Offered many tasting and very friendly. Doesn’t have food but great Goldfish snacks!! Loads of regular clients but doesn’t stop the owner from chatting with everyone. Would definitely recommend it. @The Crown & Crow

Would be perfect for a speakeasy! Walked right past it because it’s a narrow stairwell leading downstairs to the bar. I already read reviews mentioning they didn’t serve food and they allow food from outside, so all is well! The bartender was an absolute delight and amicable. They do ID checks right upon entry. I’m a sucker for hard ciders and they had a really lovely blood orange one on tap yesterday! 🙂 Definitely coming back again!

Best thing about this place is that one "boring" bartender, She is amazing. Other than that it's all pretty flat. Ciders are flat and overpriced, no gluten free beers, no whiteclaw! Lighting in this place needs to be dimmed to elevate the experience. We wanted to get a shirt but no sizes available. The space is nice tho and the experience could've easily been 6 stars.

This is my first time in DC, from New york, this is one of the cooler bars I’ve been to. The atmosphere is awesome and spacious. The bartenders are very personable which is really sets this bar apart. The bartender Graham is a really great welcoming host, he has taken care of us really well and we will definitely be back again! Super cool bar and the bartenders were fantastic also

Great vibes, great drinks, great staff. I went with a friend and we had a great time. A different friend went there once for a first date and she got stood up and the bartender gave her a drink on the house!

This was the worst bar experience I've had in D.C. and that's really saying something. Food: they didn't serve food when I went so I'm not going to review that. But I will review the drinks. We tried two of their signature cocktails and they were both terrible. I described mine as tasting like industrial cleaner and my friend described his as tasting like flat soda. For this quality the price point is insulting. Service: abysmal. None of the staff greeted us or directed us when we entered. We grabbed a table and went to the bar to order. The bartender that took our orders was extremely rude and unhelpful when asked about their liquor selection. He was also rude when serving us. Atmosphere: this place photographs better than it actually is. The space could be cozy but this effect is ruined by the music, which was sports bar-esque and about three times as loud as it should have been. It shouldn't be hard to talk to the person sitting across the table from you.

We recently hosted our welcome party for our daughters wedding at the Crown and Crow, and we couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out. From the moment we began planning, the events team made us feel incredibly welcomed. They were attentive to our needs and ensured that every detail was taken care of, which made the entire experience about as stress-free and enjoyable as it can be, given the size of the party we were planning, about 130 people. One of the standout aspects was how accommodating the venue was, especially for our guests who required wheelchairs and elevators to access the space. The staff handled everything smoothly, ensuring that everyone was comfortable and had easy access to all areas. This level of care and consideration was truly appreciated and made all the difference in ensuring that all of our guests could fully enjoy the celebration. The bartending team also deserves high praise. They were efficient, professional, and friendly, keeping everyone’s glasses filled and the mood lively throughout the evening. Whether it was crafting cocktails or simply serving drinks with a smile, they were on top of their game and added to the festive atmosphere. Finally, we were absolutely blown away by how stunning the venue looked. The ambiance provided the perfect setting for our party. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to kick off our welcome party. A huge thank you to the team for ensuring we had a memorable event. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a special event. Five Stars!!
