I was very disappointed with this business. We paid high prices to throw, and the alcoholic drink prices were also very high. We were the only group of people in the business. The guy working did not interact with us at all. He spent his time relaxing, and on his phone, we had to go to the counter to get his attention for anything. There was one lane area that had new boards. All the rest were completely chopped to pieces by the axes. All axes hanging on the lanes had knicks and gouges in the blades, and they would hardly stick into the wood at all. I know people who own an ax throwing business in another area, and this is not how they run their business. Axes are always sharp, boards are always in good shape for customers, and hourly rates and drink prices are affordable. The worker could have been fixing all the boards and axes as he sat there. I will probably not return to Donkey Den. Take your money elsewhere. I can't say anything about the food, I didn't eat here, but if it is the same BBQ place that I am thinking of, the lady has horrible business practices.

Not a good experience. There was one employee that was kind, helpful and had great customer service. There was a second gal with long blonde hair sitting with her boyfriend who was rude. I went to use the back restroom as i did several times prior and was met outside the bathroom and told "we just cleaned that one, dont use it" i said i was sorry that i didnt know. She snapped back "there was a sign on the door" and was overall rude and argumentative. There is also another pending charge for $40 on my card that doesnt show up on their end, so hopefully that drops off. Axe Boards were run down and axes barely stuck in the boards. Extremely dissapointing experience.

Despite growing up in a small logging community, this was James' first time axe throwing. We went in a group of three and loved it! We came in around 5:00 pm on a Sunday and had the whole place to ourselves. It definitely has a bar vibe, with loud music and seating arrangement, but we can't imagine they allow people to get sloppy drunk, considering the sharp edges and all. The food options are also bar basic, with the exception of pizza. The pizza place across the lot cooks for here but, unfortunately, not on Sunday since it's closed. We didn't really stick the axe into the target as much as we were comically bouncing them off in all manner of directions. It made for great laughs and a great time. We will be coming back 🙂

Found out that they allow children until like 10pm so we decided to check them out with our 4y/o and we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The staff was very informative about the axe throwing it's self and they also had quite a few other activities to keep us and our little one entertained. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend if you are looking for something new to do with the whole family!

The donkey den was fantastic!!! I love the fact it's open to all ages as my old lady and boy went here and enjoyed a quiet Sunday evening. It was an absolute blast throwing the hatchets. The service was top notch always made sure to check in with us to make sure we had whatever it was we needed. Definitely will be going again and again to check out the rest of the fun things they offer. Bring your a whole family and have a great time here.

Cool spot with various activities. They have axe throwing, darts, virtual reality, popcorn, good selection of drinks and games. Darren was cool, friendly and knowledgable. We were there on a pretty dead Tuesday afternoon and he explained the space, provided popcorn and was a cheer leader for the dart games we played.
