The Hawk

It's a small hole in the wall bar with cheap and good drinks and good service. I've come here for a while and will continue to come back.

This is the dive gay bar the use to be fun Now full of people vaping and bad music.

Don’t use your bank card here once you leave they will add their own tip amount onto your card. Rude bartenders that be too drunk to even attend to the customers. Horrible music played all night and hoodrats fighting at the establishment every other day . Go to vibe patio or the twist instead .

anti indigenous racism is not okay. it never has been okay but it is especially inexcusable in a place that exists for a marginalized group. do better because it's impossible to actually be this tone deaf.

I have been going to the hawk for 34 years when it was the tomahawk on and off. I have always been treated well. I am kinda shocked going into the hawk last night and felt unwanted and pretty much ignored by your bar tender. I am not sure why or if my money was not good enough but she pretty much only consintrating on friends and her phone this will empty out a bar quick as I had one beer waited 20 mins as she kept dealing with her friends just finally closed out my tab and went down the street. SADAND DISAPPOINTED I will make sure I peek in before going in again.

I’ve been coming here for years and never had an issue until tonight (January 1st). I came with my 8 friends and I began to order the first round of drinks. I gave my credit card to open a tab. As I ordered the drinks and they become ready I passed them to my friends. As I order the fifth drink (remember it’s me and my 8 friends) the bartender tells me I’ve ordered too many drinks, he can’t stand here and serve only me, and that he has to leave to go service other customers. I was shocked and dumbfounded. I guess my remaining drink orders and money wasn’t good enough. I never caused any problems there and I’ve always over tipped with cash. I politely told the other bartender to cash out my $50.22 tab, which would’ve been higher with the additional drinks had I been allowed to order them, I signed the receipt, and promptly left without giving a tip. I will NEVER patronize this establishment again!!!

The place has definitely gone downhill over the years. Clientele is definitely NOT what it used to be. Got asked and hustled for money, heavy use of marijuana outside the bar on the 'smoking area'. Chris the bartender is a great guy.

Years of great memories and amazing staff and drink prices I hope to visit again someday soon
