The Hideout Bar & Grill

Really nice place for friends, family and date night. I went here on a date with my African boyfriend. They were very nice and attentive. The only other Black person was on a date with his white significant other. But I felt very comfortable and well attended to. Thankfully because I was worried. Food came out fast. Was very hot and fresh. I didn't have to beg for condiments like I do everywhere else. They brought out mustard, mayo, ketchup and Tabasco for my fried chicken sandwich which was really delicious. I loved the home cooked fries. He got mozzarella cheese sticks. Ate them all.. The karaoke is really nice on a Tuesday night. I will be going back on the weekend. Parking was very easy to navigate.

Dive vibe, low key, unfussy, friendly, good food, cold beer. Energetic, attentive owner. Plenty of tvs with various sports on, and fun rock music in background. Stopped in for lunch, caught some preseason football. Had the fish sandwich special which came with fresh cut, fresh cooked fries and crisp lettuce as pictured. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Best wings in KC!! Every pizza they hand toss is delicious! The chicken sandwich is a must try... and you have to get the homemade chips with a side of house made ranch. The sliders and burgers are great. They serve real potato fries. Pretty much anything that they serve is yummy! Super friendly service! Great local place you have to try!

The wings are great! They come with ranch or blue cheese! Monday is wing day! They also have karoke on Teusdays!

Great service and amazing food! Always a good time

Tonight is my first time here. Really cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Originally, there was going to be an open jam which is why I came. There was some miscommunication about things changing and there was a band booked to play. They were so cool and let me play a set with them. I'm not in the pictures but my saxophone is!

I had lunch here for the first time because of a recommendation. Now, I am recommending the Hideout Bar & Grill. I expected their food to be good, but it exceeded my expectations. The wings were very large, hot off the fire, seasoned well, juicy, tender, slightly crispy, and mouth watering delicious. I didn’t need or want any sauces on my wings because they were already perfect. The fries and onion rings were also very good and hot, not warmed under a lamp. The portions were large and tasty. We will return soon because I started craving the food again the next day.

I've lived 2 minutes from this place for 13 years and wish I had come here for meals sooner. I'm a casual homesteader foodie and this place brings the good eats! They make their sauces and every dish is far above bar food fare. Come here for Friday night shrimp boil and you will NOT be disappointed. All around excellent experience.
