The Lantern

So much fun!!! I come here every time I’m in town and always have a blast. Last time I came on trivia night and this trip, karaoke Tuesday. Shaun is amazing but the crowd here also makes it fun. Thanks for a great time!

I used to go when I was in my 20. Back then. It was ok. Now the wait staff was amazing, Burger are fresh ground and great. if you get a chance, try their amazing onion rings. If I were to knock something, I wish the outdoor eating area was bigger..

Absolute terrible experience. Me and my girlfriend visited and got 2 drinks that were super easy to make (paloma) it was super watered down and tasted like throw up. Then I went to the bartender and she was super rude in how she assessed the situation. Said she couldn’t make another drink then decided to put more alcohol in it like that was going to fix the problem. Overall disappointed in this whole establishment!

Gianna was very welcoming and professional! Great place, great service, great drinks and food! Wouldn’t recommend a better place or person to market the place!

Great place. All the bars downtown say they're open until 1:00am but that's not true. I got downtown at 5 minutes to 12:00 and all the doors were locked except for the lantern. This place is true to its hours. If you're going to spend your money and you want to come out late come to this place. Have some free popcorn and ignore the rest of downtown naperville.

The grandma working behind the bar was incredibly rude. Ordered 3 shots and then I asked for a Coors light and she claimed “Naperville law” we have to look into it and see if we can give you another drink. Mind you people around me are absolutely hammered getting rounds of shots and yelling. Mind you I’m not even near as hammered as they were. Never coming back to this dump with popcorn on the floor everywhere( hence the more drunk people spilling it next to me) and me and my friends getting “Naperville lawed” and not getting served another drink.

Great bar/restaurant, new owners have done a great job keeping the history and atmosphere the same. It’s sad that people who don’t have the history post negative reviews not even setting a foot in the Lantern.

Went for the first time, the staff was great, a little bit crowded. The food was great and they had karaoke on a Tuesday and it was busy, they are usually busy on karaoke nights I think because they are close to the college and they get a great turn out from there. I did enjoy myself. I was able to sing one song
