I went to this place a handful of times. It was extremely busy on weekends, but I enjoyed getting a drink here on weekdays when it wasn’t nearly as packed. The atmosphere was welcoming and the bartenders were sweet and charming. This is the place to go in DC if you’re looking for a place to meet or make new friends.

My husband and I love LGP and their espresso martini's. We're always treated great, and we love the diverse and expressive atmosphere. It can get busy at times but we love going off peak and its always the highlight of our week!

A lovely spot to grab a drink and sit outside on a nice day with a good drink. Attractive, easy-going crowd with no aggressive music, which is a major +.

The Little Gay Pub is an absolute gem! As soon as you walk in, you’re embraced by a warm, neighborhood feel where everyone knows your name. The sense of community here is unparalleled, making every visit feel like a gathering of old friends. And let's talk about the Espresso Martinis—hands down, the best in town! Rich, perfectly balanced, and with just the right kick, they are a must-try. Whether you're there for a casual drink or a night out with friends, The Little Gay Pub never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch cocktails!

Gay Girls, don’t bother. We were the only women there, it was palpably uncomfortable. And our server was AWFUL. He was weirdly aggressive & frankly just a jerk. My friend ordered a drink from the bar & he berated her for not ordering from him. He came back to the table 3 more times just to tell us he was “really upset”. I wish I got his name because he deserves to be called out for that insane behavior. Had a horrible time & obviously wont be going back.

Had a great time with some friends! The bartenders were so nice, and it just felt so welcoming there! We ordered an aperol spritz, unicorn tears and a high noon for drinks. The empanadas were tasty, and they even brought out some free goldfish and cheeze it’s! Will definitely be back soon!

This bar is the closest thing to Cheers (gay or straight) I’ve ever encountered. The space is well curated and creates a feeling of warmth mixed with a wry sense of humor. The staff is incredibly friendly and takes a genuine interest in the lives and going on’s of their patrons. It is at the same time a regular’s haunt and a buzzing place to be on the weekend. Imagine Julius’s in the West Village but modernized and set in DC’s Logan Circle. Unfortunately, the negative reviews seemed more aimed at the crowd than the pub itself. But as far as DC goes, this is the nicest (and best looking crowd) I’ve ever encountered. Any time I visit DC I make a stop here. I cannot think of a better bar in Washington.
