The Local Bar Katy

I’ve been to the local bar in Katy a couple of times now, and I am always impressed with their appetizers. I am a huge goat cheese fan and their dishes never disappoint! I tried the brussels sprouts the other night, and was very satisfied with the dish. Extremely flavorful and just the perfect amount. I will definitely be coming back by for more of these amazing appetizers!

Local Bar in Katy, Texas, is a resident favorite, due to its locally sourced ingredients and extensive drink options. Local Table has several locations around Houston. They have Happy Hour beverages, brews and bites and weekly specials. Fans can follow their favorite teams with numerous TVs for watching sports, and fresh-air seekers can relax on the outdoor patio. The impressive menu, wine and craft beer list, and warm and welcoming atmosphere, make Local Table a top choice.

Why would you change perfection???? Been coming to local table for years, old and new site…. Every week w/my mum- crab cakes & baked goat cheese- substituting the current bread you’ve switched to is beyond a disappointment…. Shared our feelings with waitstaff( who tried to say it was the same bread just cut differently- NOT!!) and a manager who said to leave a review… ( taking the disappointing appetizer off the bill would have spoke volumes, but not even offered) so here it is !!! We’ll call to see if you’ve come to your senses and returned to the original baked goat cheese bread or we’ll find a new weekly restaurant …….

This is perhaps the best restaurant in Katy. Everything seems so clean and fresh and delicious. The food is great, as is the service. The hummus is amazing as is the fluffy pita bread they serve. The Brussel sprouts salad is a winner winner goat balls dinner! (Goat CHEESE balls)

Service was a bit inconsistent. There seemed to be some confusion on who was going to wait on our table, but several people checked on us to see if we needed anything. Food was much quicker than expected and tasted great. We will definitely return.

They have really delicious cocktails here. The place is chic and the atmosphere here is lovely for a nice night out or just to grab some drinks and chill. They have terrace sitting which are smoke free. Best part is the service here is awesome!!

Food was unique and beautifully plated, drinks and service were on point. It was my first time and I'll definitely fight parking to return again. The pictures are of the baked goat cheese ( don't judge the name, its epic) and the wings
