The Pig and Parrot

Good food. Cheap drinks. Bartender could be more attentive. But be aware of the crowd. Today is the second time some white guy try to start trouble with me (brown man) for no reason. Nothing happened he backed down but be aware.

It’s a happy place @thepigandparrot • Beautiful restaurant on the water, good food, but the atmosphere is what we liked best. Drinks are big and delicious! • They also have party boats @pigandparrotsandbar @pigandparrotpontoon which we are extremely interested in so maybe a video about those soon • Anyway it’s a perfect stop on the way to or home from the beach, this day we went to @ptpleasantbeach and saw a sign for Pig & Parrot in the way. Point Pleasant is our favorite beach so it’s nice to know there’s a really cool delicious restaurant right next door. ✨

I am truly saddened at yet another visit to the pig and parrot in Hoboken. I called this time to make sure they had bingo at 3pm and they said YES. I made sure to confirm because last time I was lied to and made a fool. I only come to this establishment for bingo and I will not be entering here again. Whoever the DJ is should not be employed here as he left mid shift to attend a wedding. Truly disheartened and saddened as a Hoboken local.

The bartender working there didn't come to take our order, but when other customers arrived, she greeted them with a friendly "hi" and "how are you?" She seemed to focus only on people who looked nice while ignoring us. She also demanded a tip before we even finished our drinks and claimed we had already drunk nine beers without tipping. We typically give a tip after finishing our drinks, not before. It made me wonder if this bar is only about tips. I found this very unfair, and I've never encountered a bartender like this in all of New York and New Jersey. She even mentioned that she only serves beer to people who pay tips, and said they serve those who tip. I was really disappointed with the experience.(Monday -09-01-2024)

Too crowded. The bartender was really rude. You are going to loose customers if you keep behaving this way. The tissues were all over the place. Music was okay. We are definitely not coming back.

An okay place. Went there for the first time w my cousin, wasn’t impressed tbh. The bartender was busy talking to every individual and not do the actual job of serving drinks.. we waited 45 minutes to get chicken tenders and fries (we were served 3 tenders). Food was very average too.. A little disappointed with everything tbh..

It was our second weekend at pig and parrot everything was fine bartender was friendly !!! We work in hotel industry too !! Just wanted to spend our weekend in good mood after a long day as we wer enjoying one of their crew member who was kind of tipsy hit one of my friend and started arguing with him when he asked everything ok with u ?? He started backfiring saying it was his fault and started abusing him !! The security guards took them out and when we told him abt the whole story owner it the rest told his Crew to go inside. and when we questioned them!! they were like he is our crew member !!! Even tho if he was their crew member they should told him tht wht he did was wrong but instead this is wht happened I’ll upload the video soon!!

DJ Nicki Cruzi was literally allergic to the beat worst dj i’ve ever heard couldn’t flow for his life and kept turning it down at the wrong time idk who hired him but they shouldn’t ever again
