The Point Tavern

Love everything about The Point! It has an incredibly refreshing vibe. The food and drinks are incredible. And the service is amazing! CJ, and all the bartenders, are are a whole vibe. And the music completes the ambience. Regular meeting place for my friends and I. Thank you guys for being the best pub in Providence ✨️❤️

This was my second time at the point tavern. I’m from Switzerland so I like to try different bars but the bartenders here are great. I first met Derrick and hes amazing and then I met Amy and shes hilarious. Will definitely come back the next time I’m in Providence.

So I dropped into The Point Tavern not really knowing what to expect (esp because it’s a Tuesday). Was looking to just get a simple drink and be done. Got a bar seat and shout out Amaris who real deal got me to stay longer than I planned. Rather than a beer or mixed drink she let me know about the specialty cocktails they served. Cool. Grabbed a cocktail (I forget the name of it). She told me about the wings how they were really good. I’ve had good wings so I said let me try it. Yooooo. Hear me out. Those Sweet Smoke Wings were fire. I’d come back just for those ‍♂️. All in all, it was a great experience. So a quick drink really turned into a dinner and a couple. Def coming back

Great welcoming place, Amy is a wonderful bartender; good beer selection; incredible Prosecco on tap (who could’ve though RI makes its own Prosecco); yummy soft pretzels

My fave bar ever. Derrick is amazing and always gives great service. All bartenders at Point slay, I have no complaints. The owners are very attentive and care about community and service. Great food, great drinks. I love the vibes here. Point Tavern is genuinely always my friend's and I's first choice when we go out.

The Point is a great little spot to grab a drink after work and my favorite spot for Wednesday night trivia! The food is decent—it’s bar food, so don’t expect a full Michelin star menu, but you’ll find something you like—and the drinks are good. My one criticism is that they need to have at least two servers working during trivia! It’s always the same guy all by himself and it’s way too much for one person to manage alone! They also have a great outdoor patio in the back which is great for catching up with friends in the warmer months.

Words aren't enough, but I'll try... BEST burger I've ever had in my 40 years of life on this planet ! The flavors are absolutely unmatched... The Tavern Burger needs an award by itself. The Creole Creamy Shrimp is a must try as well! That sauce is one of a kind! The atmosphere is fun, intimate, and friendly... everything you want out of a local tavern. This IS the community go-to spot of Fox Point. The back yard patio makes you feel like you're hanging at a friend's house! Amazing! Then there's the service... never had to ask myself, "where's our server", or "did they forget about us". Always courteous and prompt. This is my new spot, especially since I refuse to get a burger anywhere else! Big props! ***Support This Black Owned Business***

There are tons of bars in Providence but this little gem has become my favorite watering hole. The bartenders are super skilled and fast. The food is amazing. I suggest everything on the menu but the smoked wings have a special place in my heart.... Right next to the shrimp with toast points. The back patio is a great place to relax now matter what time of day or time if year.
