The Railyard Black Mountain

The Railyard went beyond our expectations hosting our 2-day family reunion. The venue easily accommodated our clan of 38 adults and 25 children. The sweet-spirited staff and servers were attentive to our every need and request. The food was delicious and s plentiful. The venue was thoughtfully appointed with elegant and comfortable chairs, white table clothes, and fresh flowers and potted plants. The room is almost sound-proof from outdoor music, which was important since we had our own talent show. We also used the outdoor area for extended dining space and a place for the children to play. Some of the best people I have ever met. Was in town from Ohio, and had an amazing experience there. The people are so welcoming, just pouring positive energy from everyone there. Amazing how things work out. I was put there for a reason, and blessed in more ways than I can speak. Make sure to stop and see yourself.

The event space is perfect! We had our baby shower there and were able to bring cupcakes allowing everyone to order their own food/drinks at the bar. It was nice not having to worry about catering the event. We definitely plan to have parties there in the future!

A new eatery in Black Mountain that adds the fun of music, a great outdoor setting and nice selection of sandwiches, lots of beer choices and more. This new venue combines a picnic atmosphere with a large inside bar - for ordering food and drinks. Seating is available inside, on a covered patio or outside at picnic tables or chairs. At one end is a stage for bands providing some music. On the Saturday night we visited, they had a market with several vendors selling mostly crafts and homemade items. We enjoyed the unique venue, the food - hamburgers and hot dogs for us, The prices on their beer was good. A good place for families to enjoy as well as groups.

Great new place. Sat outside, listening to live bluegrass and enjoying the wonderful July weather in Black mountain. Gave the food 3 stars. Burgers were ok, but pricey. Fries were probably frozen shoestring fries and a la cart. Veggie burger option was $15 plus fries. I think they could do better on that. Beer & cider were great.

Great new place to go for good drinks, eats and atmosphere!! Hidden gem in Black Mountain, NC. Lots of space for large meet ups. Music goes live at 630pm Wednesday-Sunday! Pop Ups vendors of local crafts and such. Go check this place out!

***update*** food is here and welcome 🙂 Soft opening for this great gem in the mountains. Located right in the heart of town and close to Black Mountain Brewing and Lookout Brewing. Their plans include 60 craft beers all local in the works. Food on property to help stave off the hunger while sipping on good brews include a little of something for all with burgers,fries, and all around American menu. Great large outside patio with tons of seating on sunny days and a covered porch for the rainy ones. The interior is what some might call industrial rustic but it’s got comfy couches and plenty of bar space. Come check them out! Cheers!!

This is a busy upbeat hangout place mostly for adults. It is a bar that serves food. Yes, there are children in the pictures, so there are all ages welcome. A large part of the seating is available outside, and some folks brought their four legged friends too. Music was being played and games being played outside, such as corn hole. I do classify this place as a bar and grill, bar first. The food was good, and even the prices were okay. Note, the parking may look like a bit of a mess, but works well for the layout.
