The Roost Bar & Grill (Cox Rd)

The food is amazing! I haven’t had any good chicken tenders for a very long time. The employees are really taking care of the tables even if it is crowded because of the game. Special thank you to Kendra for doing an amazing job despite so many tables! She was working very hard but staying friendly and positive.

Emily has served us well many times. We love this place. Have been coming here once a week or so for about a year it is consistently delicious. Drinks are wonderful love that my rum and Coke is always delicious and fizzy.

Tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich with onion rings during a lunch break. Chicken was cooked to perfection and same for the onion rings. Great atmosphere and food was brought out fairly quick. Our server was efficient with our orders, but not overly friendly. There were 3 other employees at the bar when we walked in and this was before the noon rush. None of them greeted us. I'm ok with that but pointing out as something to improve on. *review update 6/14/23* Don't get the fish and chips. batter was pretty hard and I know I made the mistake of ordering fish at a place that is known for their chicken sandwiches. Also, kind of weird the roost fries are not included in this meal as they look more like the traditional "chips" in a fish and chips meal. The crosscut fries look like something that should be served with a chicken sandwich.

I visited for my birthday! I ordered boneless buffalo chicken wings. They were decent! We got bacon burgers they were delicious. The fries were great. Lil skimpy but delicious. As for the oinion rings they were not so hot and crispy.. more droopy and damp. Otherwise I like this place.

Brendan was great...food was great... music was great and wasn't overly loud...not many people were there that time of night, so it was quite pleasant.

Nice change of pace from other food spots in the area. I had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. Loads of cheese but a little runnier than I like but the flavor was good. The full portion is large—bring your appetite. Others in our party had Fish-n-Chips and Pizza. The pizza tasted great!

I came in the other night and had the most wonderful waitress. I believe her name was Lilly. She was very attentive and so kind to my family and I. I definitely recommend the roost. Great food and wonderful staff!!!

Drinks and dinner were fantastic and service was excellent! Thank you Emilee for taking great care of us. We appreciate your attentiveness and friendly attitude. We’ll definitely visit again!
