Wow what an amazing restaurant. Food was a delicious fusion of flavours. We were a bit unsure of going but glad we did. Loved the bar & barman in his cowboy hat. Our waitress was excellent as well.

Nice space with art work from local artists adorning the brick walls. I a bit plain and simple with food so I didn’t see much on the menu that appealed to me but I had a clam chowder and some drinks. My wife also had a chowder and a lobster roll. She liked them both. There is a good size bar and table seating available. I had a bourbon rocks and a can of my current favorite IPA Sip of Sunshine. The IPA was only $6 which is the lowest price I’ve seen at any bar. Our waitress, Jennifer was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her. Plenty of street parking is available. Although I won’t eat there again I will definitely be stopping in for drinks every time we stay in Sandwich. Definitely check it out sometime.

I was really hoping for an excellent experience, but diners should be aware that the restaurant has extremely odd policy of seating people for drinks--and then setting a mandatory time delay for placing food orders. "We're very backed up in the kitchen," the waitress said. When I entreated that we be brought anything from the kitchen that was premade, I was told, "We don't do that here." I would like to think this extremely unwise policy is not designed to encourage ordering a lot of (expensive) drinks on an empty stomach, but it did seem so. It would have been 45 minutes from when we sat down to even be allowed to order food. We paid the a $45 bill for two drinks and left at around 35 minutes, thinking that it would take another 60 minutes to be served.

Caesar salad with chicken . The salad was edible. The chicken was not. I think it was turkey. Pray it was turkey and not something else. Very not good.

We celebrated a birthday at The Seal last night and we were so impressed by the food, drinks, atmosphere and especially the service! The restaurant and bar were packed the entire time we were there, and our server Darrylee still took the time to make recommendations on food and drink and went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. We loved the tacos, flatbread and bowl, and the selection of delicious, artistic cocktails and mocktails! Don’t miss out on the chocolate lava cake, it was the best we’ve ever had! We can’t wait to come back soon.
