The Show is a vibrant nightlife venue located in the heart of the city, offering a unique atmosphere tailored for the LGBTQ+ community. The establishment operates on select nights, specifically from 10 PM to 2 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Thursdays, while remaining closed on other weekdays.

Guests can expect a lively environment with a focus on entertainment and social interaction. However, feedback from patrons indicates a mixed experience, particularly regarding the conduct of security personnel and management. While some visitors commend the staff for their attentiveness and hospitality, others express concerns about the treatment received, highlighting the need for improved customer service protocols.

your red head bouncer today august 23-24 night is driving down your sales and denying entry to anyone just for the power trip. came in with heels and a dress with 2 friends, we were all completely sober (i had gastric cancer so my stomach does not tolerate alcohol at all) but only i was denied entry because i “appeared” drunk ? i even showed him proof of having cancer before and he called me a liar. many people i know have had the same issue with this bouncer. i hope to come in next time without him intervening, i’ve been told he holds grudges as if he’s a teenage boy and will remember your face to not let you in next time. if you were wondering why your sales are going down maybe train that redhead or get someone else!

They give you a stamp on the wrist, and it comes off quite easily with sweat. Be aware, if you go outside for some air, the bouncer unfortunately lacks the mental capacity to remember that you’re the same person when you return 2 minutes later. Say goodbye to your friends, your jacket, and your night. If you try to go back in the same door he will physically assault and push you, - even well past their property line and onto the street. I asked multiple times where their property line is, so I can wait for my friends past it, and the man says “we own this whole strip”. No you don’t. And even if you did, you certainly don’t own the street in front of the property. Your staff’s behaviour last night was not only unprofessional, but also dangerous and likely illegal. These people are violent thugs who treat paying customers with shocking disrespect. Avoid this place if you don’t want to be scammed and assaulted.

Before studying, I needed to write a stellar review for this nightclub because never in a million years thought I would be treated so well in a nightclub. Whenever patrons have acted out, including borderline sexual assault, the security is quick to kick them out and reprimand them. The ladies at the door are always pleasant to me and always makes sure that the ladies at the club are taken care of. The bar staff is excellent. I lost some of my voice due to smoking and I asked for water and they didn't judge and gave me water (which yes is the bare minimum but like its still nice) and I just want to say, almost two years ago, a gentleman at the club danced with me and tried to rip out my chest in the club, I told him off and ran. I told the ladies at the door what happened and the next time I was there, I was informed that the guy was immediately tracked down and kicked out. So if you're looking for a place to go if you're a new transplant to Ottawa and you wanna ease into the nightlife here, go to The Show!

It was worst experience ever, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CLUB TO ANYONE DONT EVER GO. They lost our jackets first and then blamed it on us that it was our fault we gave wrong tickets but they were to rude also called security on us to throw us out later the manager or owner was also very rude, disrespectful and disgusting saying dont say or complain else I will ban your entery forever rather than listening to us or even helping us I hated the management, the space, the people there, and the workers and security was the worst I have ever been. Also if you seeing this review there no need to ban us rather close your space coz no will ever even want to come back after your behaviour with your customers. I would ever even pass by your stupid club.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the experience I had at your establishment recently. I paid for two bottles and requested a third, for which I was told there would be a wait. I patiently waited for almost an hour, only to be told that I was being too needy and subsequently kicked out. When I asked for an explanation, I was told that the waitress did not like me. I attempted to discuss this with both the security personnel and the doorman, but I was informed that I couldn’t even speak to the person who made the decision to kick me out. This lack of communication and transparency was extremely frustrating. I spent close to $500 that night, only to be treated unfairly and unprofessionally. I regret giving my hard-earned money to your establishment and having my night ruined in this manner. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues to prevent future customers from having similar experiences.

The staff was amazing, they were kind and efficient. I really enjoyed my interactions with the servers. However, we found the music wasn't great. All the pieces were from about 15 years ago, and the mixing wasn't particularly good. The drinks were good but rather pricey. My gf and her friend were also hassled a bit by other male patrons, despite both of them staying glued to my side.

I can't speak on the other reviews, however The Show did a fantastic job catering to the Escapade crowd after they cancelled it on Sunday. They brought in DJs that played EDM and the bartenders spent all night giving out free glasses of water without collecting any tips. They let the place turn into a rave while it's obviously not their normal vibe. A+ hospitality for an evening that would have been ruined for most people.

The bouncers are thugs who will find any excuse to get physical with you. Instead of diffusing situations, they actively escalate them. Extremely unprofessional and dangerous treatment of intoxicated but nonviolent patrons. This place need to be shut down by police ASAP
