Beer for after work, I was here with my laptop and enjoyed a very peaceful early evening of writing Yelp reviews, sipping a frosty beverage and watching people coming and going. Side Project Cellar has a tremendous beer list, much more than just the usual macro brews on tap. It's comfortable, it's got a very chill vibe and it's a lovely little spot.

Outstanding venue. Very crowded and popular, but the staff is very efficient and service is pretty fast.

The breweries cellar serving up some of the best beers made in the world. With an ever changing draft list and an extensive bottle list from the cellar on top of the private and personal experience the small but unique space creates, you are bound to have a great experience. The staff is great and incredibly knowledgeable. In addition my favorite experiences are the multiple special events they have a year serving up their more limited beers.

The Side Project Cellar offers a great selection of beers and is a fun spot to meet up with a friend. It wasn't too busy for a Friday night during my visit, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm looking forward to my next visit, especially to try out their cocktail menu! There is also a large free parking lot next to it.

Cozy little hipster space. Friendly bartender and interesting beer and spirit choices. I had an excellent Dunkel and fun cask sour. Probably not a great choice for hoppy beer lovers. Overall worth a visit if you dig sours and barrel aged beers.

An amazing space with a great selection of house beers on tap and in bottle with a nicely curated selection of bottles from around the world. Don’t forget the bourbons and whiskey’s too. The addition of the patio increases capacity and allows for bigger groups and the ability to get some sun.

Great experience during the superbowl Sunday evening. Beer is l, as most people are already aware, absolutely world class. Selection was great too, on top of that some decent whiskey/bourbon options. Service was also superb, Liz (if I remember correctly) was very helpful and nice. Will absolutely be back whenever I get a chance to come back to STL, The Cellar is probably my fav beer bar in the US, on par with Russian River in Santa Rosa.

I read some of the other reviews about slow, rude or poor service. I almost wasn't going to go because of these reviews, but I'm glad I did. My experience was that the service was courteous, helpful and prompt. This is definitely a unique Brewery. Lots of unique beers. There is a strong tilt towards sour and to a lesser extent IPA beers. There was a glaring lack of beers like pilsner, lagers, kolsches, and some other types you'd be used to seeing at taprooms (eg seasonal fall/winter ale). This definitely is a place worth experiencing. The pricing is on the highest end of any taproom. There is definitely attention to quality. Some of their swag could improve (eg branded glass). Additionally, no flights are offered, but they do offer half pours.
