We come here often as it is a local spot. The food is always fresh and delicious. I ordered the boom boom chicken wrap and fries and my boyfriend ordered the rodeo burger and fries. The drinks are always strong and tasty. The food comes out in a reasonable time and the staff is friendly.

I came here with my husband and mom for happy hour on a Thursday at 4:30pm. We thought there was a happy hour menu with drink and food specials, but learner that instead it's the all day menu. Luckily it didn't matter because of the good selection. Trish, our bartender, was so friendly and helped explain the drink and dishes and what was made in house. I was impressed at the amount of things homemade and the large cocktail choices. The Spot Old Fashion had a smoke infusion and the peach sangria not too sweet. They were also reasonably priced at $11 and $8 respectively. The Spot Tots were also great with the chicken and the bee sting sauce. Overall a great visit. Friendly people, good food and a nice vibe. I recommend a stop in.

Enjoyed a great meal with family yesterday. Had the beef nachos, cobb salad with cucumber wasabi dressing, held the blue cheese, bacon cheeseburger with fries and a kids chicken tender with fries. Portions were very generous and we were so stuffed from the nachos had to pack most of our dinners. For dessert, tried the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. Everything was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Been wanting to come for a while but just hadn't had the chance. Very nicely decorated and clean. The owner is super friendly and checks on the patrons. Kids receive a coloring mat which was great to keep them busy. They have a large area for private parties indoors and outdoors. They had a basketball fundraiser going on. Would highly recommend checking them out! Erika

At the suggestion of a good friend, my wife and I recently stopped by the Spot for dinner. Here is what we found: This is the place to be for that warm, friendly neighborhood feeling. The SPOT is a great new family oriented bar and grill that really delivers with good food and a smile when you walk in the door. The owner is really "hands-on" to make sure your experience is positive. It seems to have just the right mix of after-work neighbors, sports fans, and families dining with kids. Our food was excellent, and the cook staff took time to do the "extras". The Lasagna was a great, pure Italian recipe (see the photo) Our server on this evening was Cindy and she was pleasant, extremely competent and very welcoming, especially since this was our first time at the neighborhood Spot. We had a great experience and can see that the place will be a great success!

Randomly stopped here for a little lunch on our way through CT, primarily due to the other positive reviews. Between the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich, we were extremely pleased with the food. The wrap was absolutely PACKED with pieces of chicken. In fact, I was only able to eat half of it for that very reason. My wife, a die-hard McDonalds fries fan, was raving about the fries here. Normally, I skip the fries entirely, but even I have to admit they were quite good. The entire place looked very clean.and welcoming. Service was a bit slow, but that was due to having but a single worker taking care of the bar, as well as all the tables, including the outdoor seating. I solely blame management for this (thus, the -1 star); NOT the worker. For someone who was clearly working her butt off, I applaud her ability to keep a pleasant attitude and a warm smile every single time she spoke with us. I'd absolutely return here on our next trip through the area.

Got a shock a day ago. Apparently there is still an old menu on their "Spot in Tolland" website floating around that has 5 year old pricing, so I referenced it as it was the first menu that popped up in a search, ordered by phone and my takeout bill went from an expected $25 or so to nearly $40 when I arrived!!! And that was for a bacon burger, sweet fries, and an 8 piece hot wings! Not everyone orders online or has a facebook account, which looks like their new way of advertising and has their new price list. Unfortunately, the owner eating lunch at the bar didn't seem too concerned about the discrepancy and just shrugged it off like it was the customer's problem. The waitress who checked out my order was nice, though. Food was good, just very pricey.

Absolutely fantastic food and top notch friendly service! Every single item, including the side dishes and drinks were a masterfully created work of flavor art. Can't wait to come back and try more of their great menu items! So glad we found it!!!
