Please listen to the reviews and DO NOT come here under ANY circumstance. This place is a complete and utter SCAM. My friend made a reservation over the phone for a private VIP room + bottles and was told the price would be $300 for the package. When we got there the lady told us $180 for the room and $180 drink minimum. We told her this was fine, and to just get us enough drinks to meet the $180 drink minimum. At the end of the night we were met with a bill that was a whopping $1,030 !!!! The manager was sat at the bar eating fried chicken and did not acknowledge our concerns (or even our existence for that matter) whatsoever. Even if we ordered an extra bottle (750ML Grey Goose), which the waitress explained we did, that DOES NOT explain an additional $700 to the expected price that was given to my friend over the phone. Please, DO NOT COME HERE !!!!!!

What could have been a chill karaoke spot ended up being a glitchy, exorbitant hidden fee inferno. One of the mics wasn't working and we were told there was nothing they could do about it - even though there's a $500 fee if a patron breaks a mic; the system they were using kept having issues - playing songs we didn't request, disconnecting from the TV, etc.; the room was insanely hot, we were sweating and asked for air more than once; then, when we were attempting to work with our server to meet the drink minimum, he ended up serving us drinks that we didn't ask for and didnt realize would put us $100 in excess of the minimum. It's a shame. They went for the quick one time buck instead of cultivating a long term customer. Guess we'll go to our regular karaoke joint from now on.

I would give this place 0/5 stars if I could, the staff completely scammed my friends and I. We booked a room for 1 hour which was 80 dollars with an additional $80 drink minimum. When we arrived, we asked the hostess what drinks we would be able to order with this deal as the menu she showed us did not even have prices, and proceeded to order what she told us was included in the $80 minimum drink fee we were planning to pay. Then, after an hour passed we asked to pay and she presented us with a bill of over $300 dollars. She argued with us that the drinks we ordered were part of the two hour package, not the one hour deal, even though she had my reservation and knew we booked for an hour and had told us the drinks we ordered were included. She then got the manager who was extremely rude and entered the conversation yelling at us and threatening to call the police rather than listening to us explain the misunderstanding that his own employee caused. He also suggested I was incapable of reading and asked a man in my group to read the same confirmation message I was reading as I, a woman, “did not understand.” At the end of the day we were forced to pay over $300 for one hour in a room and one bottle of vodka, and they even taxed and added gratuity to the $50 deposit I put down. Never go to this place!

Staff did not inform us of $80 minimum food/drink charge when we booked a private room. (There was no karaoke machine only an iPad connected to YouTube). We inquired about the $80 minimum charge we were not told about and the manager tried to escalate the situation arguing with us and threatening to call the police. We agreed to pay the charge despite the fact that we had only received $19/$80 of food/drinks and the manager was already calling the police despite telling us he would give us time to decide if we would pay the charge. The staff was extremely kind and understanding despite the manager’s actions.

TLDR: DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL COSTS. THEY WILL SCAM YOU, TAKE YOUR MONEY, AND MAKE YOUR NIGHT MISERABLE. This was literally the most awful experience of my life. We came here in the first place because they offered a 1 shot with a drink promotion at the door in front of the elevator. At the door, we were told karaoke would be $50 an hour. We went into our room for a party to celebrate business wins and sang for an hour. That atmosphere and bartender were decent although they were a playing music on a literal iPad, but then the horror started when the hour was up. We were then told, for the first time that entire night, that there was an additional charge of $80 for drinks if we went into the room. We had never heard about this so we protested. Then the manager came in. He was literally awful to us. He didn’t listen to why we were upset and why we were protesting the charge. Instead, he threatened to call the cops. I was incredibly anxious so I agreed to pay the fees but he pushed me away and pretended to call them anyways saying it was too late although he had already stated he would give us some time to decide whether we would pay without a fight or not. This lead me to have a genuine panic attack and I could not breathe the entire rest of the time. But, my friends argued and he was yelling and getting aggressive the entire time. The employees were extremely apologetic but he stood strong even though everyone knew we were being scammed. We ended up being charged a $169 fee for a night that should have been a price of $69 max as we only stayed for 1 hour and got $19 worth of drinks (a bottle of soju). They also charged us for tip, along with tax, even though we specified we were paying $0. DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL COSTS. THEY WILL SCAM YOU, TAKE YOUR MONEY, AND MAKE YOUR NIGHT MISERABLE.

Tl;dr: don't go here They have a $80/hr food&drink minimum in addition to the hourly room fee, which is much more expensive than other places. They add 20% tip automatically too. The kareoke system wasn't great. Wifi cut in and out constantly, and we lost over 10 minutes of time due to this. The gaps between songs is quite long.

The Spot has terrible service and management!. They hold your credit card physically, then lose it. Quite a frequent occurrence here. Recommend somewhere else, unless you want to experience someone stealing your credit card. Rooms with no AC, servers with bad manners. Mediocre food.

Unfortunately I think this place is a scam. It wasn’t a full hour when they said our time was up, more like 40 minutes. The food also takes super long presumably to coerce people to stay longer. They also forget to give back your credit card which is pretty strange. I’m gonna have to keep an eye on my bank statement or cancel the card
