The Swamp on Bourbon Street

Swifties had a blast!! Thanks for the memories last Saturday night. Dancing on bourbon that night was almost as fun as seeing Taylor on Sunday.

They drew us in with the three for one (it expired by the time we finished the first three). Dilly, dilly! We stayed for hours. Live music inside, a gorgeously tucked away, New Orleans courtyard and a bull riding opportunity outside. Chellie, at the outside bar, was amazing and looked out for us all night. What more can you ask for? One downside was the woman in the bathroom who sold, among other things, the only soap to be had. They might want to work on that.

Probably a bad idea to kick out the obvious service industry guy, still in uniform, that just got off of work. Because of his backpack. This place will be closed in less than a year. Go to Razzoo across the street instead.

Strongest drinks we got on Bourbon Street for the price! Music was fun but it filled up very quickly

Great happy hour deals, and the drinks are tasty and refreshing. The bartender made up drinks for us, and they were delicious and went down dangerously easily. We went in the mid afternoon, but with the mechanical bull (aka "swamp thing") and the 'girl tooter' shots (replace 't' with 'h' and you get the idea) I could see the place being a drunken mess late at night. If that's what you're looking for (and who isn't on Bourbon Street) then by all means make sure you stop by!

We rode the mechanical bull and enjoyed drinks on the top floor where it looks like a tree has grown on the side of the wall. Also, there's a bathroom up there.

Can’t really remember much but pretty sure I had a great time! Didn’t lose my wallet or keys and the drinks were strong so overall I would go back if I could find this place!
