It's a vibe! Multiple areas to mingle or secluded yourself amongst a broad selection of wine with the option of by the glass or the bottle. The wine selection is organized by regions, which is pretty vast. A notable French selection to include Bordeaux to Corsica. There's even a wide selection of Champagne. There are multiple Italian and Germany/Austria bottles. I remember seeing the popular orange wine and a few African regions. To follow, they also offer a decent sherry selection, a dessert in a glass.

quick service. extensive wine list, about 12 options available by the glass. is it weird to pour a new and different type of wine in the same finished glass ? if there’s a food menu outside of the charcuterie options in wine list I didn’t see it.

My favorite spot in New Orleans, here at least once a week. They have a wine list for wine nerds but won't ever make you feel like an outsider if you're not a wine person. They really know wine, highly recommend talking to your bartender about wine to learn more. A true gem of a place where you can spend hours sitting and connecting. Always try the by-the-glass specials! And the cheese/conservas plates! And food pop ups! I also really appreciate the inclusive, safe environment they've cultivated.

My favorite spot in Nola for a glass of wine! The decor and atmosphere is impeccable! 10/10. Amazing service and all of the food pop-ups I have experienced at this bar have been delicious and incredible! Great djs, music and entertainment. Could not say enough about how much I enjoy this wine bar!

Going to The Tell Me Bar is like going to the coolest bar in Mexico City. This is one of the most magical and authentic spots in New Orleans. The wines are so amazing, but the people and vibe are even better. I have learned so much about wine just coming here and talking to the bartenders. Just the coolest place!

Stylish and low-key spot for an intimate night out. Small but curated wine list by the glass and bottle. Very good happy hour offerings. Luckily, we came on a night with a sushi pop up that was incredible. Will definitely be back.

Response to owner: I did not harass the employee before this video. As you can see from the beginning of video I waited in silence as she put out menus and arranged flowers 5 minutes after opening hours. I’m not surprised you’re doubling down instead of owning up to outrageous customer service. Clearly, you must be inept to hire such rude personnel. After this video I certainly gave this individual piece of my mind because that’s what any sane human being would do in response to being treated to poorly. However, I chose to leave on my own accord. So strange that an owner would defend an employee opening their business 6 minutes after opening hours and then clearly being rude as flip to a stranger/customer. Original post: I came 15 minutes early and waited outside in the rain. No big deal I understand I came early so my husband and I patiently waited. 4:00 comes around and I smile and wave through the glass when the bartender rudely yells through the glass one minute and waves her finger to wait. She counts the cash register, organizes her lunch and cocktail, and then places menus down and arranges a flower vase before opening the door six minutes later. I’m so glad I was filming because very seldomly do you catch someone being this rude. I live in the neighborhood and it’s safe to say I’ll never be back.

Have been here a few times. Despite being really close to the expressway, it's fairly quiet and they've put a lot of work into creating a sleek and posh vibe inside the bar. The wine list is extensive--perhaps one of the best in the city. They offer a decent list of wines by the glass daily. I haven't been there for any of the happy hour deals or food pop-ups yet. Hopefully someday. As someone who grew up around Northern California wine country and has lived in other countries that produce world-class wines (France, Hungary), it's great to see so many types of wine in one place. However, I've found the service average at best--not particularly welcoming--which is odd in New Orleans. There is plenty of condescension, which doesn't bother me, but it feels oddly deliberate. I guess this is why people who like wine sometimes get labeled wine snobs. The bathroom area is really cute, and I heard some pretty good minimalist type electronic music being spun by a DJ one night. It would also be great if they featured some Hungarian wine, which is very well-known in Europe (in fact, there is a natural wine phenomenon going on there currently) but very slept on outside of it.
