Great spot tucked in the city near the gay neighborhood. I wasn’t sure what to expect since it was the first time going. Was just looking for a good spot to eat in the neighborhood with some drinks. The atmosphere is like a nice early 1900s speak easy, demure setup with the tables and plenty of seating if you want to hang out around the bar with the really charismatic bartenders. I loved how casual it could be or you could dress up if you want as well. The food and cocktails were above what I expected for bar food, but based on presentation you could tell it was going have a great value for their cocktails and food. I enjoyed it a lot and I can’t wait to visit again! Thank you

Excellent service. Good food. Bar is full of unique limited edition liqueurs and spirits. Bartender/s are knowledgable and know their stuff! Chimay on tap...one of my favorites. Atmosphere is also very warm and cozy. Great place to chill...

Amazing food, really good drinks that are made with craft, not saccharinely sweet. Wonderful 5-6pm Happy Hour as well. 3rd time here, would come again!

Been here twice now. The first time was a great experience with delicious food and cocktails and great service. The second time had a different menu and the food just wasn’t that good. So based off of those two experiences, I’d say this place is hit or miss. I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend it. But! There are always open slots for reservations and the location is very convenient if you have other plans in that neighborhood. A good spot to keep in mind if you don’t like the long waits at most Capitol Hill food spots.

For over 20 years, I’ve made the journey from Canada to the Tin Table every Memorial Day weekend for a dance camp, and it’s been a highlight of my year. The owner and staff go above and beyond to create an environment that’s not only efficient but welcoming and inclusive. Their warmth and dedication have built a sense of community that makes everyone feel like they belong. I’m grateful for the many memories made here and look forward to many more years of being part of this incredible place.

I would say that Hallie and her team went out of their way to put together a unique, fantastic experience for our large group (12), except I think this is how they treat all of their guests. Gorgeous, speakeasy vibe, delightful cocktails and NA options, and a small, but really smart menu. On this visit, I had the tofu skewer plate and the fish tacos and both were really good. On a previous visit, the steak frites was delish and hit my hankering. Honestly, rude or just disinterested service is far too common in Seattle restaurants these days, and The Tin Table feels ‘old school’ in how kind and genuine the staff is. Give this hidden gem a visit the next time you want a lovely and chill night out.

Usually love this place been here several times, however last night was a different experience, we were standing for some time before the first person who was very nice asked if we had a reservation, we said no but we were hoping to just grab a quick drink she said oh ok and yes and showed us to a couch seat, another person comes out of nowhere with a scowl says something to her and then asks us to go back and stand off to the side. We are told we may sit at a table top but needs it back in an hour. I said that’s fine we were only wanting to grab a drink to which they seemed surprised. Had they not been so rude they would have gotten that part of the conversation. I understand that we didn’t have a reservation and had they said they could not seat us that would have been fine, instead they stopped us on our way to another seat, acted like we were a huge inconvenience, had us stand awkwardly to the side, and it was all rather embarrassing honestly.

I’ve been going to the Tin Table once a year every Memorial Day weekend for over 20 years, traveling all the way from Canada to attend a dance camp. The owner and staff are truly amazing—always friendly, efficient, and incredibly accepting. They make every visit feel special, and I look forward to many more years of great memories!
