This is a real bar filled with history and congenial patrons as befitting a well established Salida landmark. I felt so very comfortable and welcomed there at 61 years old introducing my 5 month old grandbaby to a real experience. People were so kind and sweet. If you want to go clean and fancy go someplace that looks that way. I've had food poisoning in those places. This place is real in a great way. I love love love this place.

this is a fun hometown bar with lots of history. beer is cold and the staff is awsome. Brandy is the best bartender. When they have live music it is a little too hippie for me. And the prices are a little bit more than I'd like to pay

Very cool atmosphere and interior architecture! Open late every night of the week, this is the best spot in Salida to have a late-night hangout with your buddies while kicking back and playing pool, ping-pong, or shuffleboard. Although their selection of beer on tap is limited, prices are fair. Bartenders are friendly and helpful. I only wish they had more food/snacks besides bags of chips. Otherwise, I would recommend to anyone looking for a late place to hangout in central downtown Salida!

Best there is in town. Bad reviews are just being babies. Locals only??? Absolutely not, out of town but not out of state, stop being sissies and get outta Colorado if you can't handle it. Bartenders were the best and know how to keep people happy and hydrated
