The Wheelhouse Bar

On 10/5 at 10:29pm the lady wouldn’t sell to me. Mind you I have not been drinking at all. I had to open my purse to give her my license . Once she gave my license back as I was putting my license back in my wallet and my purse tipped over in my lap and she took the drink and said she couldn’t sell to me ! I have not been drinking at all. She wouldn’t sell to me because I’m black and I’m gone press the issue . She was very rude from the beginning! Will be calling corporate.

What a great little hole in the wall. The son and I stopped by to get a few drinks. The drinks were not too expensive. The place was just a great little bar.

This is a great place. Every time I'm in the area, I make sure to spend time at "The Wheelhouse." It's always clean, and the staff is excellent. The previous bad review was from people who came in with expired IDs, were refuse service, and subsequently gave a bad review, out of sprite. The picture I took was right after the previous review that said the place was "dirty."

What a pleasant surprise. We we’re on a road trip and just wanted a break. We spotted this little bar that has the comfortable feel of a neighborhood bar even though it’s is a small strip mall. It’s a smoking bar. So if that’s a problem be warned. Susie was tending bar and was very welcoming. Hopefully we’ll pass this way again.

Love this place. I have been coming here for a long time and love the bartenders. Marissa was always good to me and my friends. Crystal took care of us last night and was super sweet and attentive. Love love love the remodel and love that your not able to smoke in there anymore. This is coming from an ex smoker and the reason I stop coming for awhile because of the temptation. Everyone is super sweet. The staff and customers.

Plenty of parking, Clean, good crowd, Sat karaoke. The bartender Avery was spot on with service, acknowledged me when I walked in (first time, so he didnt know me from Adam), finished who he was serving and came to my table and got my drinks (Even with a busy waitress). Really hard to top that first impression. Drink was made just right. It's just a little small, but in a strip mall, not much available real estate. Not their fault.
