This is my favorite queer bar in Richmond, VA. It is nestled right in the Forest Hill neighborhood next to Crossroads Coffee & Ice Cream. The staff makes this place feel like home, not to mention their menu is basically comfort food. Friday night draws in eclectic crowds to keep you intrigued, and if that wasn't enough it's karaoke night too! This place has it all though, from various themed Saturday nights throughout the month to weekly events. So you aren't a weekender? That's cool. On Tuesdays they have game nights on one side and Bring Your Own Vinyl on the other! Trust that this place has a little bit of magic for everyone who is a part of the community. I'm proud to join in on the magic that truly makes this world shine brighter ✨️ Love, a satisfied customer, member of the community, and life-long friend

My absolute favorite bar in Richmond. The owners are great people, the patrons are very friendly, and they have a variety of different themes and entertainment to keep you coming back Drag shows, karaoke, theme nights, and vinyl nights all bring a variety of people in. You’d be hard pressed to find a day that doesn’t appeal to you. Be warned, the drinks are strong. That’s a good thing but it’s something that you need to know before coming here.

Small, quaint, illuminated bar. They offer a nice variety of beers and have Mario Cart on the tv, ready to be played by customers all the time. The staff were attentive and kind. I recommend checking out Thirsty's.

Love their bathroom sign! Lovely staff and chef, food was okay but burgers were delicious! Try their gator burger. Delicious freshly made mozzarella cheese. Drinks were awesome too. Awesome atmosphere and easy to find place. Not many parking spaces due to it being in a corner.

So much fun! Our first time in we had anticipated one drink each and leaving.. That didn't happen due to the awesome and upbeat environment! After we both had multiple drinks and a few appetizers, we left three hours later! They also had Kareoke going on and there was never a dull moment. Great staff and just as welcoming regulars.. We will def be back! Thank you for a great time Thirsty's!

One of the few spaces in RVA that has regular rotating events that cater to the alternative LGBT+ community. I really appreciate Cameron for everything he’s built here. I always feel welcome and safe here.

I think the aesthetic is Bourbon Street dive bar. They use folding tables and chairs for lunchtime, so it's definitely not the best scene if you're looking for a touch of elegance with your meal, but the jambalaya was good with a touch of Cajun heat (I personally would like a bit more of the meats, but it was okay) and the side of fries with garlic and rosemary was a generous basket with lots of seasoning. My friend got a bourbon chicken po'boy which she enjoyed. It wasn't so overstuffed that she couldn't pick it up, which she appreciated. The beer selection is varied and fun, and we loved the eclectic music selection that was playing.

Soo this place is pretty cool but visiting and it’s 1150PM .. they are doing Karoke . Requested to sing and evidently they are not taking anymore singers .. cool. .. and I guesss understandable .. however the degree that the Karoke host goes to wave his wands and declare “ no no no no “ Is a little over the top. Reel it in a bit professor Slughorn
