Triple Nickel Tavern

This was my first time here. Easy to find, was able to find parking right away. Drinks are very reasonable and atmosphere friendly. Bathroom a little bit of a maze to find, but who doesnt love an adventure! Would definitely return.

This place is literally the best place to go in Colorado springs for food, drinks, and a wide variety of exciting entertainment. Plus they have a pool table, which I may have performed on

5/5 dive bar vibe. Fine dining? No. Extensive wine list? Not here. But also, why go to a dive bar for that stuff? It’s got regulars, cheap drinks, solid bartenders, and TVs to watch whatever is on.

I was just asked to leave because "I wasn't spending any money." When broached by the gentleman down stairs about paying a cover charge. I was told it was $10 but by friend was told it "a donation of $5 or $10". I was personally invited by one of the performers to observe their set and was just patiently waiting. Due to the fact that I am paid to be at parties and to view performances, I did not want to be accused of working for free by sitting in on there performers so I mostly waited upstairs and outside. I will not say that the fact my friend and I were the only people of color in the establishment, had anything to do with it. But considering neither him or I drink, and it was cold outside, I do not understand what the problem was. There was no entry fee at the front door. The whole experience was awkward, unsettling and I would not recommend this place to my friends of color to perform. I am always one to give my flowers where they are due, but none are due here.

The sound settings for the musicians werent equalized well. Their music was good but ear piercing

Enjoyed an evening of karaoke in a very nice atmosphere. Caring people and lots of fun. Didn't eat any food there.

Fritzys, down below, is the chillest vibe with the best energy. True culture exists here, which is rare.

This place rocks. Great atmosphere, pizza is on point, decent beer and spirits selection. Plus, JJ Nobody is a legend. If you're a Steelers fan, you'll fit right in. If you're a punk rocker, you'll fit right in. This place welcomes everyone, so anyone will fit right in. Live music venue as well, great place to see both local and touring bands.
