Tropicana Bar & Grill

Went with a couple friends to eat lunch. It took a while to get our food. Fries were soggy and so were the chips. The server never came and checked in on us, and honestly I had to ask her to remove plates from my table. It wasn’t busy enough to be that distracted. I had a to go order of fried green tomatoes, and it wasn’t until I got home and realized that in the box was completely burnt. Most of the fried green tomatoes were stuck to the box. There were crumbs and all sorts of other stuff from the fryer that they dumped right into my to go box that should have been filtered out. I feel like when this is done like this it’s because of laziness. I’m from Joplin and I support local businesses all day long but was very disappointed in the service with Tropicana.

Awesome fried pickles, drinks, and food. Prices are reasonable. Been here twice now and plan on coming again.

So good! Can’t say enough good things about our food and our service - Our server was on top of everything! They were so nice and our food was hot and delicious. There was a bit of a wait before we were seated because it was so busy! But they still got us in fairly quickly.

Now this is for sure the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in Joplin, MO. Just incredible food and Tim our server was just as good. We had the Philly Egg rolls which were absolutely fire and we wanted to order a couple more of those for the entire meal but the menu was too persuasive. We also had the fish tacos and snake burger which were both very good. Looking forward to come back next week and try some more.

A friend of mine told me about this place and it’s really good. You should check it out. Cozy and warm environment.

Usually a hoppin' local eatery, I was able to stop in for a late lunch during inclimate weather for a tasty unique burger. Their menu has quite a variety from burgers, sandwiches, tacos, and salads. They put a nice spin on the flavors of each menu item to create a fantastic fusion of flavor for the taste buds. Their drink menu shares the same artistry with drinks and concoctions alike. The service was very friendly, prompt and helpful. There is alot of seating room, and I hear it fills up with people in the evenings and weekends for an active dining atmosphere. I certainly would recommend a stop here for some flavorful options and variety.

Excellent burger and fries Spicy bbq sauce wasn't overpowering!! "Mom's" sandwich was really well stacked with meat and fresh onions..really tasty. Music wasn't too loud..which means we could have a nice conversation!! Wait Staff (Kasey)was well versed on menu items and made informed suggestions (which I appreciated). Kept my soda full in a timely manner and didn't "hover"! Over all it was a 9+ out of ten!! We are from pittsburg and we will be back!
