The food is like Grandmom's house (you know, when you walk in and start drooling from the smell?), the bartender ACTUALLY knows how to make drinks (it's a dying art) and the people are super friendly. We went for karaoke last night (Weds).... the only issue I have is the older I get (and because it gets dark so early), the earlier I want to end my night - so karaoke starting at 9pm was tough. Overall - super great place. If I was local to it, I'd absolutely be a regular.

A fun stop on our trip! Nice guys, good drinks. It was super quiet, the only music that plays is when someone pays for a song on touch tunes (maybe a different scene had we not gone on a Sunday!). If we lived in the area, I’d happily be a regular. Good prices.

Absolutely the best of a dying breed of gay bars. Super friendly clientele and bartender. Small, intimate venue with extremely reasonable prices. Definitely a place to visit if you're in the Ne PA area!

I’ve been going to the Twelve Penny for several months now since moving to PA. I was warmly welcomed by both staff and patrons on the first night and every time after. It’s a fantastic, low key bar with a great, loving vibe. Friendly and outgoing regulars, interesting visitors, karaoke, trivia, and other special events help keep it exciting. I highly recommend coming out to see them.

I spent two weeks in town for work and visited here three times. The owner is a wonderful, polite and outgoing guy. The bartenders, DJs and staff are exactly what a great “smaller town” LGBTQ2 experience should be. Fun patrons, fun karaoke, fun times all around. I’d come back in a heartbeat!! Such a great time! Bartenders Rony and Mike T were nothing but exceptional! So courteous and friendly, make you feel like you've been coming here forever. The owner Michael H is not only handsome but such a "real" guy, you can't help but feel you've known him since childhood. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to feel welcome and at home whether your gay or straight. Amazing time in a lackluster town!
