Twist Social Club

I used to come to twist over twenty years ago when my husband and I were younger. I'm currently here attending a repast for a good friend John Cox. Knowing the bar staff constantly "ignored me" while aid at the bar waiting to be served? I was the one of three Black patrons paying my respect. Even the only Black waiter looked over me, and went to the White customers though I was there first? Really interesting, and sad. I expected better and equal service in 2024. The service was better in 2001 when we used to go there too hang out! The food was great though.

Bartender is awesome!! The music is awesome and the vibe is amazing! As a transwoman, I feel right at home! Dom has been an amazing bartender for a lightweight like me and for a heavy drinker like my girlfriend, I love it here!!!

A little pricey when it's not Happy Hour. I am no longer a Twink, so when it comes to being served, I am invisible at times. This is a clean place with a decent vibe.

Amazing service, vibes and staff! Even on their busiest nights I’ve never waited longer than 3 minutes for a drink and everyone is so welcoming! I used to bartend/go out in the flats and it’s hit or miss what kind of night you’ll have. Twist is my absolute go to every time

It all started when my Nonna Liza entered the room. Being Spirit form she had drapes for legs. Silver Aura with Shredded Black Cape. Sees only though the eyes of god, makes everyone robot form, yanno? Her look is a lightning bolt that curls into a hook. This was back in the winter... she made certain to strike every wondering eye. Releasing all the E spirits from their bodies ... Draining the steam from the pasta sauce if you get my drift Everyone turned to Voodoo Dolls that night and their now vessle less spirits subsumed into a giant dome ovr my head. IDk but Then I lost my jacket but was too afraid to ask bartender if he seen it cuz hes the guy who intervied me to work here but thye didnt hire me so i felt awakrd.

Love it from the time you walk in to the time you walk out it was great and the music and food was spectacular the presentation wow the amazing food it was like a lays potato chips once you had one you want more on more

Great vibes, great staff, fabulous outdoor space!! It was Pride weekend, so it was packed and so crazy hot inside, but the multiple outside bars really helped facilitate quick lines and the ability for everyone to join in the party.

Bartenders are always so kind and attentive. Best chicken tenders I ever had !
