I recently had the pleasure of visiting Two Fifteen bar at Public Hotel, and it was an outstanding experience. Their happy hour is fantastic, and their specialty cocktail menu is a delight. Rocky, one of the bartenders, was exceptional. She took great care of me and even remembered me on my second visit, which is always a nice touch for a hotel guest. Brian, another bartender, was incredibly enthusiastic and engaging, making the experience even more enjoyable. On the opposite side of the bar, Aguayo was attending with the same vibrant energy, ensuring everyone had a great time. At the door, Michaela and Patrick made the experience very welcoming and familiar. Their excellent control and warm greetings are so important to a traveler like myself. Overall, Two Fifteen bar is a must-visit for anyone staying at the Public Hotel. The staff's dedication to providing top-notch service truly sets this place apart.

Two Fifteen is an upscale lounge on the second floor at the Publix Hotel. I have been to the Two Fifteen lounge a number of times over the last few months and each time has been amazing! The lounge is well designed with lots of comfortable couches, dimly lit to add to the great vibe and the DJ spinning the music has been on fire! This is the best upscale lounge in Manhattan! The group of people I was with each time thought the drinks were great and the customer service was perfect! This includes a few expresso martini's that a few of my friends ordered. Rikki and the rest of the staff are outstanding and provided superior customer service each time we were there. Because this is an upscale lounge, people wearing shorts or blue jeans may have a harder time getting in. When going to an upscale lounge, you should dress appropriately or you may have a harder time getting in. I also wanted to mention that each time I was at this lounge, I saw a diverse culture of people. I did not get any sense of cultural bias. I can also mention that no one was wearing shorts, blue jeans or old raggy shirts either. If you are looking for a great upscale lounge with great vibe, energy and superior customer service, Two Fifteen lounge is your place to check out! You will not be disappointed.

Loved the ambience. Had chandeliers kept in unique fashion, overall very pretty. Liked the drinks too. Highly recommended to try.

@publichotels @barchrystie in Lower East side NYC. This spot just opened mid-november in the lobby of @publichotels . It's a swanky bar inspired by old Hollywood glamour and Harry's in Venice and Ritz in Paris. Filled with high energy music yet comfy lounge atmosphere, perfect for a pre-dinner pick me up or a late night wind me down (like we did). Two highlights include the Big Olive , their dirty martini that comes with a housemade olio Nero and extra virgin vermouth and the Silk Road Sour with gin, lemon, pistachio, egg white, raspberry & saffron They have a huge menu, and some are really hit or miss depending on your taste. We tried the champagne boilermaker, a $60 drink with 24k gold as well as the Staycation, Twin Fashioned, Christie Manhattan, and Zoom Lense. Some lacked depth and complexity, but some were amazing like the highlighted ones above. Make sure to be prepared to spend $$ or enjoy your time with shareable cocktails for 2-4 people too. Regardless you'll have a good time @midwestmunching on instagram

If you are of Asian or South-Asian ethnicity, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS HOTEL. I was racially attacked and treated with hostile, aggressive behavior by staff. I was staying at the hotel on a business trip and had been there a couple times prior with my girlfriend - the doorman at the lobby restaurant-cum-bar (in a grey hoodie/sweatshirt who said his name was Toni) stopped me from entering, asked me to beg him to let me enter and then said he doesn’t let Asian people in - I walked away. There are numerous other reviews about similar discriminatory behavior. I would highly recommend choosing another hotel.

Isa hosts parties on Saturdays and she discriminates against people who she thinks doesn’t fit the “look” she’s trying to “curate”. She doesn’t want anyone to go who doesn’t look “good” to her standards, so if you aren’t someone who is attractive to Isa, don’t expect to get on the list. This hotel is non inclusive and especially does not cater to black people! Racist and judgmental establishment with judgmental and exclusionary hosts, in 2024 no less!

Great staff, useless management. After having been a frequent at Butterfly for years, I wanted this to work. You simply can't operate as a nightclub in the lobby of an NYC hotel, especially after making minimal changes to the venue. Additionally, management needs to change; the humility and upscale atmosphere is no longer there. Nur, kindly get back in the driver seat.

I’ve been a regular at public hotel for 2 years and this is by far, the best bar service I’ve ever had. Gabriel, Alfredo, Herlindo, well exceeded in terms of customer service. They were very attentive, prompt, and hospitable. I recommend you try the white Negroni with mezcal. It’s chef kiss!!!
