Ugly Monkey Party Bar

This has become the go-to bar for my boyfriend and I when we're within Raleigh. They have an extensive selection of drinks available, and if you're in a rut of not knowing what to order, they have a wheel that you can spin, allowing for you to try new and flavorful drinks/shots.

He’s fantastic the music is great definitely a mix of everything! He knows how to keep the vibes going even if it’s on a Wednesday afternoon and the drinks are great I couldn’t pick something to drink and he made me something and it was actually really good! Would definitely visit this bar again!

It's surprisingly delicious for a place that specializes in drinks. The wings are juicy, the fries are crispy. The Ugly Monkey isn't just a bar; it's an experience. I rarely leave reviews but this place earned it for sure. We went earlier in the evening and had a great time! This place just has really good vibes, bartenders were really chill and friendly and even though it was our first time there, treated us as if we were long time besties. If you're looking for a fun time, this is the place for sure! I will note, it is very loud though with not a lot of indoor seating aside from the bar. Not the best place to have a conversation, but an awesome venue if you're looking to dance, sing along to music, and have a good ol time.

Not as inexpensive as you would expect from its appearance. It's set up as a good drinking bar with attentive staff.

This is a fun party bar in Raleigh. The staff is friendly and the drinks were pretty good. If you are daring, you can spin the wheel to try one of their signature drinks. They also have pool tables, a cage you can dance in if you want, a dance pole attached to the bar top, and a spot where you can get on the bar to dance if you are brave enough! Fun place!

Wow! I have been I town for less than 5 weeks. Been to this place 4 times and spent at least $250. Not including tips. I went back to close my tab tonight and get my debit and was told I couldn’t use the rest room real quick to take a piss by the bouncers who have no clue what customer service is at all, and are unable to recognize the kind of clients that will help the business make money. Please note. The bar tenders have all been awesome!! But bouncers have zero business accumin! And are on some kind of power trip. Your loss. $$$$$
