Live review! Leo’s is the place. If you’re in Cincy, don’t sleep on Leo’s. Every day they have a different food item on the menu. We had lobster rolls. They were delicious. He makes them in house from scratch. Drinks are made perfectly, service is top notch. Get the cousin Jeffrey. No frills, but the best time.

Tucked away near the bustling heart of Findlay Market in Cincinnati, OH, Uncle Leo's stands as a whimsical retreat, a haven where eclectic decorations and a vibrant atmosphere blend seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience. The moment you cross the threshold, you're greeted by an array of quirky decor, each piece a testament to the creativity and charm that defines Uncle Leo's. The friendly bartenders, with their welcoming smiles and warm demeanor, make you feel like an old friend, ensuring that every visit is a delightful escapade. Among the myriad of offerings that grace the menu, from succulent oysters and sumptuous lobster rolls to hearty sloppy Joe's, one peculiar yet enchanting dish stands out—the briny pickled egg. Served in a tiny, egg-shaped chalice, this delightful treat is a culinary marvel. The egg, infused with a perfect balance of tangy and savory notes, offers a burst of flavor that dances on the palate, leaving an indelible impression of culinary craftsmanship. Uncle Leo's is not just a bar; it’s a celebration of the unconventional, a place where every detail is thoughtfully curated to provide a unique and memorable experience. The signature "moose shot" adds to the charm, inviting patrons to partake in a ritual that epitomizes the playful spirit of this beloved establishment. In essence, Uncle Leo's captures the essence of a true local gem—where eclectic charm meets culinary excellence, and where every visit feels like a new adventure in the heart of Cincinnati.

Update: Still my go-to (for 2yrs). Now open 7 days a week. Always a good time. Super cool bar to chill at near Findlay Market. Awesome bartenders, great drink specials and fun vintage wall art for sale. Lots of yummy snacks plus food specials like lobster rolls on Saturdays, sloppy joes on Sundays and guest chef food pop-ups (like oysters and gourmet sandwiches). They have two TVs, a solid music playlist, and shaded sidewalk seating.

This place is amazing!! Great atmosphere, absolutely fantastic bartenders and very affordable drinks. I stayed in the Airbnb above the bar for Blink 2024 and could not have had more fun after the festival hanging out at this bar!! Could not recommend this place more. 5 Stars 10/10

Fantastic dive bar in OTR. The bartenders are awesome and the vibes are high. I was in town for the weekend and went here both nights. The owner also does lobster rolls on Saturdays, which were fantastic. Definitely stop in here if you’re in the area.

Uncle Leo’s pleasantly surprises with its lively atmosphere and welcoming vibe. We were quickly greeted by super rad staff who treated us like a regulars from the get. The service was top-notch—efficient without feeling rushed, great recommendations and solid cocktails. The patrons add to the charm: mostly locals with a willingness to include newcomers in the banter. It's the kind of place where conversations flow freely, whether you're debating what someone should have been named (Will is definitely Will, Nate is probably meant to be Mikey) or what cocktail goes with which song. The ambiance is cozy and unpretentious, with dim lighting that sets the mood for relaxation and camaraderie. The décor is a mishmash of eclectic items that seem to have stories of their own, adding to the bar's character. The drinks are affordably priced, and the selection ranges from classic cocktails to local craft beers on tap. Don't miss out on their signature drinks—the bartenders know their craft well and are happy to whip up something special if you're feeling adventurous. Overall, Uncle Leo’s is a gem worth discovering. Whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or settling in for the evening, you're guaranteed a good time with great service and even better company. Totally recommend and can’t wait to go back!

It’s a bar! It feels old, despite being relatively new, in a GOOD way. It’s narrow and dark. Selection is good but not overwhelming. They have a shot and beer special. I really like it.
