I was a little nervous, but the hostess Courtney was very polite and helpful! She took my order and made a wonderful lime drink for me. I hope she gets a raise and this place continues to be welcoming to all folks. :3

We visited this bar to watch RuPauls Drag Race. The crowd was not very welcoming (a bunch of pretentious ppl tbh). We ordered food and it was good, it arrived sooner than expected. The staff was attentive and polite but it was almost impossible to watch the show. There were not enough speakers or the volume was too low. The only place where you could actually listen was on the section on the right with a big screen

This is a stand and pose bar and most people are in their groups and not interested in meet other people. The bartenders, while fast and good, are very aloof. They’re more focused on getting to the next person than worrying about the person in front of them. The bar itself is nice and well done.

Glad Union has reopened. The new location has a great vibe, with plenty of open space and socially distant tables. Service was a little slow initially, but it looks like they have more staff now and it’s much better. The food is great! I’ve had several meals from their menu and was surprised by all of them, especially the breakfast burger on the Sunday Brunch menu. The spot is great for happy hour, a night out with friends or Sunday brunch.

Union is always fun to start the night. Good vibe and strong drinks. The staff are friendly and good looking. Will definitely come back again.

I’ve visited this bar several times and never had an issue using my NEXUS card as ID—until my most recent visit. The bartender inspected my card for an unusually long time, even bending it, and then told me they don’t accept NEXUS cards. This is completely false. The NEXUS card is a federally-issued ID and functions as a passport, complete with a hologram for security. I even reminded him that Washington State Legislature explicitly recognizes NEXUS cards as valid forms of ID, but he refused to accept it. I’ve never had this issue here before, which made the experience all the more frustrating. Management needs to address this so customers with valid forms of ID aren’t turned away for no reason. Disappointing.

Although we understand, I am a 68-year-old man who got pickpocketed earlier so I did not have any ID on me. I was visiting from DC so I did not realize that I needed one. I do have a copy of my passport and my drivers license on my iPhone, to see if any exception could be made. It was obvious that I am of age and know that if for some horrible reason, the police raided the place, those would both be acceptable. A shame you lost our business.
