Vibes were amazing! My fiancée and I went in on a Sunday around 7pm The bartender was amazing and super friendly

this establishment’s “manager” made me and my party feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. my party and i were all accused of stealing cover and being underage when all of us were over the age of 21 withand paid $7 for cover. i genuinely thought this was the kind of place that would be safe to lgbtq+ individuals and women but i am truly disappointed. the manager told us that he would trust his bartender of 35+ years over us despite the fact that we all had receipts and proof of payment. it sucks that 4 young women were made out to be liars in a place that is supposed to be a safe space and not incredibly misogynistic. i was wrong and i will not be returning.

PLEASE start playing rap music on thursdays fridays or saturdays. this edm techno music is just not hitting. we need more diversity because it’s become very obvious you all are just catering to your white gay audience.

I wish I could give this place a higher rating, but do to a few things I've noticed I cannot... I've noticed that there is lack of communication within the management and the security team (the security team is wonderful though) that causes the atmosphere to feel stressful at times. Than the lack of AC used during some nights, makes it feel like a sauna and people have passed out from it more then once (I saw this happening 3 times in one night). The drag performances are amazing on the other hand, but I feel like people just don't respect that the performers need the floors open during their show (meaning I've seen people block off the stairs where some of them like to perform). Otherwise this place is a really good place to visit no matter your walk of life and sexuality. I'd just honestly like to see more then two security guards on shift at a time, so it feels safer and that way things are easier to be managed within the club, plus a sign on the front door may help some people know that the entryway is in the back of the building (I think this would also help security be able to do their job more efficiently as well). ** *** **** Below are some of the photos, I've taken and have noticed the stairs being blocked off by people.

it is so great to have a safe, queer space in gainesville. my friends and i come most thursdays to see the burlesque shows (we love you vixens!!) and every drag and burlesque performer here is so talented. the drinks are strong and affordable, and the security does a great job of making us feel safe and welcomed. T is the best security guard everrrr!!!!

I was having a good time with friends and about to leave when a drunk security person decided to tell us off for drinking water out of a water bottle. When I asked them why they allowed me to bring the water bottle in the first place and didn't take it at the gate (as other bars do) if they have a problem with it, said security person got mad and told me he's great at "remembering faces" and won't let us come again. Honestly this felt quite racist because I swear I so plenty other people drinking their own water, and I was treated like a criminal for doing that.

Love the shows here!!! My kid wanted to go for his 18th and we had a blast!!!

No food here, but a great place to come be yourself. No judgemental here.
