Awesome selection of beer! I love that they categorize it by which ones are rare too. Super fun atmosphere definitely go on your birthday for a fun shot! There’s also ample patio seating

Very well experienced bartenders that knows their beer. Just let them know what preference you have and they’ll hook you up with a good beer to taste.

This place is super fun. The drink selection is great and the service was top notch. Will definitely be "applying" here again. Haha

Rating on an interesting night with drinks, trivia, great outdoor atmosphere/temperature. Service was actually excellent and surprisingly friendly. Really high marks here. The trivia was produced and run with incredibly high/professional production value and is arguably better than local competitors. Very impressed with this. The mandatory drinks to compete… not a fan of that rule at all, and it’s limiting people who might want to compete. But it’s “university of beer”… so you should kinda know what you’re getting into. Drinks are reasonably priced for the area. Outdoors the chairs and tables are a bit uncomfortable, and since trivia takes hours it can be a bit taxing - so just note that. The outdoor area is very cute though and the whole area is very safe. This establishment seems well run and was really impressed with what we saw overall tonight. Friendly and pretty controlled clientele, but it could differ on other nights for sure. Reviews will be spiky for that reason.

Thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon vacation at University of beers the bartender "Summer", who is one of the most vibrant friendly servers I've encountered in a long time. She shared her personal goals along with educating me on the over 40 beers that this location serves. when I do stop back in Davis,, I'll definitely be coming here, but I know I'll probably miss Summer.

Cool spot with a great variety of beer! Staff is friendly. Wide variety of different IPAs. Made it fun and had staff pick out different surprise beers for us. Be careful of the white gummy bear shooters! (or any shooter in general) They go down very easy, but definitely pack a huge punch. There is seating inside and outside. Street parking only.

Love the variety and ability to taste unique beers. The cold ice bar is a plus for keeping your drink icy cold. Great sports bar.

A nice bar in the heart of Davis to have a beer with friends/colleagues after work.
