Unwind Wellness – Georgetown

My partner and I treated ourselves to a couples massage for our anniversary this year. After TONS of research, we finally chose Unwind in Georgetown. The massage itself was average - I will say the masseuses both were friendly & made a point to ask about pressure preferences & areas for focus and were attentive to these (giving them stars for that alone!). However, this was NOT a very relaxing or nice place to be. We were rushed in and out of there so fast - there was no time for relaxation, enjoyment, bonding, or anything of that sort. We spent maybe 5 minutes getting dressed and quietly debriefing after the massage (it was cold so lots of layers to put back on, lots of jewelry to fish out of my purse/put on again, etc.) and were getting a knock on the door every minute or so. There were a ton of rooms not being used so it was kind of confusing that they were so adamant on needing to clean our specific room for the next guests. We were baffled. After a few minutes, we just let them in b/c it was getting so frustrating so we ended up finishing getting dressed alongside them cleaning. So weird. We get massages nearly every year for our anniversary and every single place we've gone in the past have let us have a cup of tea before or after and certainly did not come in to clean the room as we were still in it. If they needed the rooms, we were always given robes and escorted to a nice changing area. For the amount we spent, it was ridiculous to be treated the same as massages that go for less than half the price. Overall, this was not a great experience for our anniversary celebration - I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing experience or one with ambiance. If you just want to be in/out for a massage, maybe this is the place for you. Otherwise, do not recommend celebrating any big events here - definitely was not worth it!

This was our second time getting a couples massage. While it wasn’t quite as exceptional as the first, it was still very good. The therapist had warm, soft hands that worked like magic and helped melt away tension. The ambiance was perfect for relaxation, and the process from check-in to check-out was smooth and professional. The cleanliness of the space added to the overall comfort, making it a pleasant experience. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and we are looking forward to coming back next time. I would still recommend this to anyone looking for a great massage.

Amazing - and nothing short of it! Had such a great massage here and the therapist had hands of magic! It was one of the best massages I have ever had. As well, the customer service is exceptional. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. Would highly recommend Unwind Wellness to anyone and would visit again if I am ever in the area!

The owners are absolutely amazing I had an issue and they fixed it and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I had a male provider (Nate) who was professional and made me feel comfortable. He took deep tissue massage to the next level. Very experienced & friendly.

This was my first visit. I decided to try this spa because of the high reviews on Google. I've tried 2 other spas in the area, and this is the only one so far that has lived up to its strong reviews. I was very pleased with the ambience; it was very quiet and serene and dimly lit. Quite a nice contrast to the bustle that is characteristic of Georgetown. Check in was very quick and the receptionist was welcoming and friendly. My masseuse applied firm pressure as I requested and really focused on my upper back which is my problem area. My one suggestion would be to finish the massage with a scalp massage. Other massages I've had at other spas normally do this, and I find that ending with the scalp massage is a nice finisher. Overall, it was a great massage though. I will be back for another one 🙂 The owner, Antonio, is also welcoming and quite friendly and greeted me on my way out.

There is a wealth of information that Nancy possesses regarding the health of women. After our session, I was able to get a very restful night's sleep. I’m looking forward to our next session.

I got the signature massage and my sister in law got a prenatal massage. The aromatherapy scents in the room, the music and the heated sheet all aided in making the experience very relaxing. Both masseuses did an exceptional job in taking care of our needs and helping us to unwind. We will definitely be back!
