Uptown Lounge

I love the versatility of this venue. Sometimes it's all seating, sometimes it's a large pit area with less seats. You do have to be careful when picking a seat on the far sides of each row.. Some seats are right beside a large column with very little elbow room. There are plenty of restrooms and areas to purchase beverages. We always enjoy a concert at this venue

Love the vibe here! Feels welcoming of all peoples and demographics which is a huge plus for me. Owner seems so welcoming and excited for you to be there. Excellent drinks, amazing live music whenever we go - a new fave!!!

The new lady bartenders are mean and rude!! I overheard a conversation with a regular customer that I see there quite a bit and the bartenders complained about their tip making rude sly comments. Losing those two singer guys was a huge loss to this establishment. Sam and the guy that left to be in a play production. They were amzing and personable and kind. The new bartenders don’t really recognize any of the “regulars” and I didn’t appreciate watching how they talked to that lady for not tipping enough. The only defense I have for them is that the lady was pretty drunk….but that shouldn’t give them a reason to be mean. Other than that…..the music here is ALWAYS amazing!!! I go every week and I really enjoy the talent that they bring in!

BEST PLACE EVER!!! Came here for my friend's bachelorette party and it was incredible. The drinks were great. The bartenders were PERFECT! They can sing, they are personable, they are the BEST. We are not from KC, but we will come back for this place. LOVEEEEEEE

The Jam Night hosted by Julian Goff was the best. I normally don't like to play at Jams, but it was a good experience for me. The Karaoke Night is equally as great. I highly recommend The Uptown Lounge to anyone looking for a relaxing night out.

Uptown Lounge has a great atmosphere! I love the live music that's not over the top. Not only are the musicians great to listen to, they have a personality that just makes things relaxing and enjoyable without feeling forced. Drinks are great and change with the seasons. So much fun listening to Vonne singing with the musicians while making drinks and attending to the patrons. Unique skillset that is rarely seen and treasured to observe.

Someone recommended this NEW lounge so I decided to try it. Loved the vibe service was very friendly. I arrived late Thursday night so I missed the live entertainment but Allen took time to inform me about the other times I can catch it which I appreciate. The bartender Vaughn was great. I Definitely recommend and I'll be back soon.

KC’s latest upscale jazz bar, Uptown Lounge, had me completely speechless! The jazz was beautiful and the artists took breaks to talk to the crowd. Our bartender even sang while making us drinks at the bar. Spectacular performance all around. The drinks were delicious and packed a punch. If you enjoy the Green Lady lounge in KC but want to avoid the wait…this is THE place! 10/10 recommend.
